I get really pissed about the players that sit down on the sidelines. Shouldn't they be standing up and dying to get back on the field? They look lazy and ready to quit when they sit down.
/sarcasm
I am so sick and tired of reading on this forum how people are upset (or were upset) that our coaches (esp. Mike McCarthy) aren't out there yelling at guys all fired up 100% of the time.
Football also requires brains and if you're out there always acting like a glorified cheerleader instead of using your head to pick apart your opponent and develop a strategy then you will get beat.
I'm sure Capers was frustrated, as we all experience in our jobs sometimes.
Let's all stop reading into the game. If we're not on the sidelines or on the team, there's almost no possible way we know what's going on or running through someone's mind.

I've played for both the laid back type coach and the fired up coach. Let me first say that just because the coach is fuming on the sidelines DOES NOT mean he doesn't have the brains for the game....thats what I get from reading your post.
If your coach is a laid back guy, you are going to have laid back players...plain and simple. Capers is in the box so that doesn't really matter. The coaches on the sideline have to have emotion as well. End.
I remember seeing that during the game but didn't read much into it at that time. Is it a jerk from falling asleep??? I have done that before and it looked like it.
I take that and compare it to being in class :thumbright:
If I fell asleep during an 8 am class, I would wake up and pretend I am doing something. I am going to read into this and say he passed out just like our damn #2 defense did.
