The only thing stupider than taking the steroids in the first place is to admit to it years later.

I wish MLB players would stop insulting our intelligence by saying, "I only used steroids to recover from injury." Yeah...

THANK YOU

It's so freaking insulting. Like, "Hey you dumb asses out there, uh, I just took it a couple times to get over my injury. Trust me".

Fuck him and fuck all those cheaters in baseball. Football is a little different because it's expected and they arent breaking sacred records to acheive them. Cal Ripken was my baseball hero growing up and he's still the greatest short stop ever IMO and one of the greatest players ever.

I've been prescribed steroids to speed up recovery from a shoulder injury and it did wonders, so I don't think it's that far fetched to think that recovery time was the initial reason some players started using. After all, that was the main use for HGH before people started using it for other reasons. I'm not saying it's right, cause it's still cheating, but after I read the Mitchell report, there were a few names that stuck out to me that didn't really fit the whole "juicing for power" scenerio.

But like I said, it's still cheating. Doesn't matter the reasoning.

Only now he's saying it? I could have told you that back when he was playing.

Dude, his shoulders and back looked like McDonalds pizza face employees. Plus, he was a major dick. The only reason people didn't hate McGuire so much was that Canseco was even more of an asshole.

I called both Mac and Sosa back in 98 on roids and I was like a kid at the time. Though it was more out of spite because I was and still am a huge Ken Griffey Jr. fan. Anyone could see something was up and the way Baseball was looking the other way made you go hmmmm.

Zero - He was on 'roids when he was with the A's as well. McGuire used to hang around our side of the pond and was a complete asshole. Canseco was double the asshole though because his wife was a bitch who thought the world revolved around the Cansecos.

Think about this.....how many of those "home runs" would have been long fly outs without the "roids"?
Maybe Bonds would have only hit 500 HR's without the drugs.
