Lol, 1600 hits, 263 career batting average, 1400 RBI's and zero mvp's. And this was with steroids. Bottom line, this is a true case of a guy who probably doesn't have the numbers to be a hof'er without steroids like Bonds would. He is a weak fielder, terrible base runner. I mean, the guy is not a hof'er by any means in my opinion.
Would he get 70 hr's without juice? No fucking way. Steroids really make you a different person with stamina, strength and recovery when it comes to fatigue and injury. Maybe he hits 40 that year.
Maybe he said to himself, at 23%, I'm never getting in the HOF, no reason to hide it anymore. Screw him, I wont cry for a guy who's made hundreds of millions of dollars in salary and endorsements cheating people.
