you didn't know about this? It's crazy. It's one giant sod-box. When it's not in use, it is literally rolled out into the parking, and moved off into the desert.

Several of us remarked on the slippery conditions on the field yesterday, saying it's unacceptable given that the facility is a dome with artificial turf. Apparently, we were wrong. Football in University of Phoenix Stadium is played on sod , not artificial turf.

I just hope it's a little bit dryer though as I'd hate to see an ankle or a knee injury this weekend caused by the conditions.
