I didn't see the game yesterday but I was able to tune it in on the radio.

At one point early in the game with the Packers in possession I heard a huge roar from the crowd, immediately I thought we had turned the ball over.
The announcer then commented that "the roar you heard was coming from Packers fans" who he estimated to be 45% of the crowd.

I was very happy to hear about the huge following of Packers fans attending an away game.

I made a comment during the game that it is amazing when the crowd is louder on a Packers offensive play than a Cardinals one.

It was the same way at the Rams game this year. Packers fans pretty much kick ass.

I wonder how many are going to next week's game too.

Considering that there are probably alot of "snow birds" from Upper Michigan and Wisconsin down there I think the Packers will be fairly well represented again.

Are there sports fans in Arizona? I'm thinking they're about as fair weather as here, although the most clueless sports "fans" I've ever seen were in Seattle. That city doesn't deserve a team. Los Angeles probably has the most fair weather fans (for any sport).

I don't see us coming near 45% in a city like Chicago or Pittsburg where you have real fans.

Bear in mind that tickets for addresses outside Arizona do not go on sale until Tuesday, but that should not be a problem, considering how many snowbirds live in that state.

I am sure most of them were there anyway for the winter. They were probably all over 70, and drove to the game in their Cadallac with the left turn signal on the whole way there.
