Your right Yooper.
I am sure most of them were there anyway for the winter. They were probably all over 70, and drove to the game in their Cadallac with the left turn signal on the whole way there.

I live in Gulf Shores, Alabama and we are a "Snow Bird" area and there are several rules that I have come to follow when the funny colored license plates start showing up.
#1) Stop means STOP! When you are behind a snowbird at a stop sign or light RELAX. You are not going anywhere for awhile even after the light turns green.
#2) The 15 MILE AN HOUR RULE. Anytime you are following a snowbird this is how fast you can expect to go.
45 MPH = 30 MPH
30 MPH = 15 MPH
15 MPH = Well, turn around and go another way because you aren't getting there from here.
#2A) If there are curves in the road take another 10MPH off the adjusted speed.
#3) The 4BLOCK-30SECOND-NO TURN LANE RULE
Snowbirds, in their eagerness to be polite ALWAYS put their turn signal on FOUR BLOCKS ahead of when they intend to turn, take a minimum of 30 SECONDS to complete the turn, and, NEVER wish to create confusion by using turn lanes. They would much rather wait from the lane they are in until all is clear.
#4) All YELLOW LINES ARE SOLID.
Snowbirds NEVER under any circumstance PASS another vehicle. PERIOD.
#5) NEVER BLOW YOUR HORN AT A SNOWBIRD.
They can't HEAR it anyhow.
REMEMBER. WE WILL ALL BE SNOWBIRDS ONE DAY.
And we will be the ones sitting so low in the drivers seat you could swear no one is driving the car.
