Well Zero besides the Steeler game he really hasn't put up the huge numbers.

You're worse than a flag on a windy day with how often you change direction.

That's just ultrafail. He has a great record, and even better stats.

see Rourke hows it look when someone cuts on a qb like you do? You don't put anything positive about Lord Favre and his stats are just as good as Rodgers with alot less talent on the wr corp as was stated at the beginning of the year. As far as my comment it was answering Zero when i said he would fall apart in the 2nd half of the season. Well he hasn't put up the great stats except in the loss but he got the wins and i give him props for that. I also said if he can play decent against these teams i would be a backer and in case you need to know i have 2 Rodgers jerseys so i guess i am backing him :P

But just cause i back someone doesn't mean i can't say anything negative. Hell look at woodson he got burnt alot the past few games.

Besides this game against the Steelers he had 3 other games with 3 TDs and no INTs. Leaving out the Buccs game he has 27 tds with 4 ints, hell, THAT ARE TREMENDEOUS NUMBERS. I don't know what you gonna expect, every game with 400+ passing yds and 5 TDs?

Ok, I know what an ass man is. And what a man that is an ass is.

But what's a grown-ass man? Sounds like someone in one of those pod-people movies. 🙂

You're just wrong though. Here are his stats broken up by the first 8 and last 7 games:

First 8:

comp: 164
att: 260
pct: 63.1
yds: 2255
yds/game: 282
td: 16
int: 5
rat: 103.2

Last 7:

comp: 165
att: 255
pct: 64.7
yds: 1944
yds/game: 278
td: 13
int: 2
rat: 101.4

He threw for similar yards per game, touchdowns, interceptions, and increased his completion percentage in the second half of the season. You don't do that from having just one big game, not at the level he's playing at. He also had massive stats against Detroit and San Francisco and had a qb rating over 100 in the Seattle game though did not throw that much as we dominated. In 4 of the last seven games he's had a qb rating over 100. That's putting up some pretty damn nice stats.

If you haven't come around yet, you won't come around ever until or if GB ever wins a Super bowl under Rodgers. Then bandwagon fans will jump on then for sure.

I can't believe anyone is actually saying Rodgers hasn't put up big numbers in the 2nd half of the season though. That just makes you go hmmmm.

344 passing yards and two touchdowns against San Francisco.
348 passing yards and three touchdowns against Detroit.
263 passing yards and three touchdowns against Baltimore. Two picks too.
383 passing yards and three touchdowns against Pittsburgh. Rushing TD too.

Really?

I didnt realize he put up those stats, it just seemed like he has been off. I remember watching games when he was missing wide open guys and throwing alot high because hes throwing off the back foot. People were bitching also in chat. So i will take that back, like i said i just remember people bitching alot and he still holds the ball to long. The defense and running game has been over shadowing him then.

I don't write anything good about Favre? Sheesh, man, do you even read what I write? I've lauded Favre's performance repeatedly this season! All my criticisms of him are directed against his personality (and his fans), not his performance on the field.

Actually, in several discussions we've had the past few months, others have remarked that I was the nicest to Favre of all the posters. 😛

beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
