Maybe it is the romantic in me, but I want the Vikes for the NFC Championship game.

Well Dfoster all i can say is i fear playing the Eagles, They have to be the team favored to win the NFC, they can match fire power with the Saints, can win the low games against the Vikes, also their defense is very dangerous.

So i'm saying i don't want to see the Eagles at all.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I think the Saints and Vikings are as strong as a glass bottle.
I think the Eagles and Cowboys could be scary, depending on which team shows up.
Cardinals, if you hit the QB hard and often, easy win.

Yep. We are in total agreement. What a way to start the new year!

And Zero--Regarding the 'Boys. Well, my fear of them is (or should be) well known in these parts. It is a combination of history, karmic flow, superstition, what have you....

Please, Lord--my heart could not take a "boys" match-up...

Yeah I agree... I don't want to face the Eagles or the Cowboys. I think at the moment we would play well against the Vikings and possibly the cardinals... but Bush worries me a lot.

I am REALLY excited about being in the playoffs again... but I do not have the same feeling I had going into the 07 playoffs... back then I thought we could beat anyone, but this year I am more hesitant.

That being said, if the Packers play their best, I honestly think we can win... I just don't know if that will happen though.

There is one thing that needs to be pointed out regarding the Eagles.

They have suffered a significant loss on their offensive line.

Jamaal Jackson  is done for the year.

It is going to be very interesting to see how the Eagles hold up on that line today vs. the 'Boys. They were having some real troubles early in the year when that o-line was disrupted due to injuries, and the local media here is quite concerned because the shift of Nick Cole to the position did not go well against the Broncos.

This bears watching.

Thanks for the tip, D. I will try to watch what's going on with the Eagles' interior O-line. This will be especially interesting considering that the Cowboys have one of the best nose tackles in the league in Jay Ratliff.

I do not want to play the cards back to back, very difficult to beat a team that way UNLESS you play vanilla this week and yank your starters early.
I also want no part of the Eagles as that defense will give our O-line fits.

Well, with the Vikings up 31 at the half, it's essentially set in stone. We'll be playing Arizona next week. I'll be interested to see how much time the key starters log. After watching Welker go down, I don't see any reason they should be playing more than a quarter - if at all.
