Vanilla? My gosh why would you want to do that? I'd throw the kitchen sink of weird at them. Throw some two TE with two FB backfields with Rodgers flanking or some weird shit. I'd have some fun with it, let the players have some fun!

Forget being vanilla, show me a triple reverse to a flea flicker deep to Quinn Johnson!

After seeing all that I see no reason for Rodgers and company to stay in the entire game.

ya IMO no way should they stay in the whole game ... they shouldnt be showing anything fancy either.
Or show a bunch of wierd fancy shit just to freak out the co-ordinators of the cardinals. <<< I like this better

maybe we should run a bunch of fake field goals a la jim zorn :)

Woodson and co. had some comments after the game that they want to stay hot, not jeopardize their momentum, but it's such a bizzare scenario...you'd much rather show the cards vanilla in case you do win.

They suddenly have a lot to play for, though (#2 seed).

ahh ya - the cards have a chance to get a bye - and IMO thats Very important for a team. So I see them coming out with guns blazing. While we just get to help choose whom we play.

haha ya - Im trying to remember when driver did that reverse this year; was it in the preseaon or a reg season game.

Should still be a cool game to watch.

I rather end the season with a win over Arizona and some momentum like Woodson mentioned. I don't think we should play all out and show them everything. We definitely need to rest the starters at some point, most likely after the half or sometime during the 3rd quarter. I would like to see the Packers go into the half leading and then have our 2nd-string team beat their 2-string team. I want the Pack to play the Vikings again and send them home, but not in the wildcard round.

Thanks Ninja.

After what Woody said, I'm rethinking what I said on another thread. Hopefully we can be like we were in '07 when our starters pulled off such a fast early lead that we were able to pull them early and still win.

That would be fun to watch, but if it worked, it would really piss them off. Then we'd have to play them again next week.

i'd rather we win this one for momentum and confidence's sake. though i do agree we need to disguise our hand if we're going to be playing the Cards twice. i just told my gf (Cards fan) that we're enemies for two weeks. >:D

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

So if we lose we might play the Vikings? Screw that. I don't EVER want to lose.

why wouldn't you want to play the vikings again, iron? I'd love to stick it to breNt in the playoffs! They're reeling, our O-line is much improved over 2 months ago...I like our chances against them.

Either way, this is such a weird scenario. I don't want to play the cards consecutive weeks, but I don't want to see the pack lose.

Also, I would like your avatar MUCH more if there weren't a couple of goons sitting in the front row blocking the scenery šŸ™‚

Why would you want to be the 6 seed, when as a 5 seed, there is a chance we could host the NFC Championship game at home? I don't care about the Vikings. I don't have an axe to grind with Favre. I'm over it. He's not a Packer any more. Life goes on.
