He stinks. He cost us the game today with his inability to hit what SHOULD be a somewhat easy kick.
His blunder might end up costing us a playoff spot.

I'm not defending Crosby but changing holders after 13 games certainly couldn't have helped matters.

Its time to get him gone.

There were other reasons like many dropped passes, the D not stopping when needed but Crosby hurt cuz we more than likely would have won and it was right there

That missed FG was in the 2nd quarter. A 3 point swing dramatically affects how agressive the packers are on the final drive (e.g. run out the clock since, in theory would have had 1 pt. lead)

Don't get me wrong, I hate the guy right now, but you're reaching for air if you're blaming the loss on him

Time to bring in some foreign soccer players for a try out.

Crosby is gone tomorrow. At the very least, get someone in here to compete. Missing FGs like that are unacceptable.

Ignoring the cut/bring in another kicker argument...what do you do as a coach with him now. I know M. M. has been all over him, which I'm somewhat happy about since his play warrants a good chewing out...but doesn't the added pressure just exaggerate the problem?

Awesome. Give them my number. With a little practive, I'm sure I can boot in a 30 yarder. I'm sure half the people on this forum can.

And I'm one of the people who stands up for the kicking game, as it requires quite some technique.

Anyway, I doubt that there'll be any movement on our roster. We all thought Campen would be gone. We all though that Barbre would've been benched a lot earlier.

Let's not forget that Crosby is not that far removed from a season in which we had him down as a kicker with a ton of potential. I think that we'll be sticking with him.

Also, Kapinos put the ball down horribly on the extra point. You can't put that on Crosby. The FG, you can, but I really feel that it isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.

Maybe we've found out what Frost's only talent was?....

Need to look at his fundamentals.

There must be something in his kicking action which isn't consistent.

The field goal miss against the Steelers was a bad foot plant - this suggests that Crosby might be leaning too far back and his left foot therefore slides along the ground compared to other kickers.

His holders have a lot to do with it too. Ever since Jon Ryan was cut Crosby has looked far worse.
