All fundamentals? He's been doing good the last 4-5 games, but shit, his fundamentals were terrible earlier this year.

This is an award for fundamentals, not overall stats. He held the ball well and made good cuts throughout the season. There were times there was a better cut to be made, definitely and that could be said for many others too.

This is Ryan Grant, he's not going to get may awards, let him have this one without snide remarks, geez. lol 😉 (i think i jus dropped a snide remark too!)

My entire point was that he was continually running into piles instead of making cuts and running with his head down for the first 9-10 games of the season - I seem to recall you ranting about the second point yourself.

The one thing I WILL give him credit for (besides greatly improving his cuts) is not having fumblitis. He's been quite good at protecting the football.

I don't know if you guys listened to Brian Billick analyze Ryan Grant in the last game. Fundamentals isn't about always making cuts. He explained it was how he held his pads over his feet, how he secured the ball, etc. Grant uses fundamentals, while in comparison, a guy like Adrian Peterson just uses his feet.

I recall that ever since the bye Grant has been on fire. So that would be the first four games rather than 9-10.

The one thing about Grant is that he has the fundamentals, just not the explosiveness of Peterson, speed of Chris Johnson, or the vision of Tomlinson (in his prime).
