1 point underdog going on the road against defending SB champs. Too scary, home team is usually given 3 pts, oddsmakers are usually pretty close, I am taking the point and betting The Pack gets it done by beating Steelers outright.

You are better doing this every time you like the underdog. I assume your payback increases with every point you give up when taking the "dog" in a game.

Up to a certain point spread the numbers shows that dogs that cover WIN the game an incredibly high percentage of the time. If you pick the dog, give back the odds, and increase your take.

I also like the Pack in this game. Most often I would stay away playing the Steelers at home with rest but I feel at this point no matter what they would like to muster they can't.

You are also correct getting in early. Public perception with the Packers win streak and the Steelers losing will probably drive the line down to pick or Steelers +1 by Sunday. Having said that late big money may lean towards the Steelers with the kicker being the 10 days rest.

I think our defense will raise total chaos for Ben. The offensive line looks lost out there and with the multiple looks we will bring I think you will see him on his back often. If there was an over/under on sacks for Pittsburgh I would say the number would have to be 5.

Not bad Warhawk but are you forgetting Ben see more exotic blitzes in practice than he would from the Packers, plus he plays the Ravens twice a year. He probably knows the 3-4 better than some of our defensive players lol. On that note i say the Pack by 10.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Let's not underestimate the Steelers. They won the SB last year because they had the #1 D in the NFL. This year, they're #11 but if I'm not mistaken, it's because of injuries to some key players (especially the guy with the cool hair).

Never underestimate an elite D. In big games, it often comes through. Ah, Polamulu. I was having a brain fart.

If he is out against us, I expect to win by double digits. If he's playing, it's going to be a tough game. He's one of the best all around DBs in the NFL and his presence is a huge morale boost to that D.

I can imagine the scout team this week.

Speaking of afternoon, let's take lunch.

We should hammer them, they're playing like crap.

But their season is on the line.

When ours was on the line, against Dallas, we pulled out a blinder.

(I hope they've checked the permutations and actually realise their season is over. NFL network said the other day the fact they're down on all the tie breakers means even if they run the table they can't actually make the playoffs.)

He's out. I read an article this morning where he said he wanted to be back for the last game of the season just to get in a game before the season is over.

Packers 28-10, and I'm not even worried about it. The only thing that concerns me is a couple of three toothed Appalachian boys taking offense to my Packer wear and throwing me off the bridge into the Ohio River.

And from what I saw from Arizona last night, we just may run the table going into the playoffs. 12-4 sure sounds nice, and what's that I hear...the sound of silence from the Tators.

Thanks Warhawk. Too bad as I like the guy and I'd rather beat the Steelers with him playing. We as a team could use the practice against elite DBs before we head into the Playoffs. Troy Polamulu is one of the most elite DBs in the game.

I like the Pack in this one, simply for the fact that momentum is on their side. They are not an up and down team, not knowing what you're going to get from week to week. I'd rather be steadily good than great one week and horrible the next. This team is steadily good, and the D only continues to get better.
