Because the official ruled that he was falling, it was technically the correct call. If you are falling when you catch in the end zone, you must maintain possession all the way to the ground. Jennings failed to do that, so it was not a touchdown. The issue at hand is whether he was falling or not when he caught the ball.

He was robbed. What a horrible call. They made the wrong call twice, once in real time and once after viewing a replay.

The worst part is I think the official didn't understand the rule. that's no good!

it was clearly a touchdown. possesion + 2 feet down in endzone= TOUCHDOWN.

Is there a rule on how many feet a player has to get down to eliminate the going down to the ground rule?

I'm pretty sure it was the right call. I am more upset that Jennings couldn't hang on to the ball.

I think the officials, overall, do a terrible job with instant replay. They often overturn calls that are too close to overturn, and then sometimes they fail to overturn bad calls. Also, they take too much time to make calls that are obvious as soon as you see the replay.
