I also think that Bush played solid today. Not outstanding, but solid, and that is what I expect from this kid.

Nobody is disputing that the Bears went after Bush. Of course they did. But he held up okay. The thread title is about Bush being picked on. That's inaccurate. "Picking on" means that they are succeeding in exploiting the player., which they did not. Bush also had a couple of nice tackles. Give the guy some credit.

Of COURSE they went after him. He's the weak link in the chain. That doesn't mean he's lousy, just the weak spot.
After all, they have to go after SOMEBODY, don't they?

Right now I feel like he is experiencing the same kind of issue that plagued AJ Hawk (until about four games into the season. Nice to see you come alive, AJ!). He is assignment sure for the most part, but he is about a tenth of a second behind the play instead of a tenth of a second ahead (like Woodson, but nobody is expecting this out of Bush) or right on (like Bigby or Collins). I think he is showing that he has what it takes, and i hope the game slows down for him that one tenth of a second, so he can make some big plays!

I thought Bush had an alright game and to be honest I would expect more from him..he gave up a few catches but so did Woodson (touchdown).
