Your kicking game can make or break you in the playoffs. Crosby has been, at best, below average over the past several weeks. The weather hasn't even been that bad the past couple of weeks yet he continues to miss makeable FGs.

It'd be nice to at least finish the season with him and then draft a new kicker next April, but is it really prudent to go that route?

I like Crosby as a person. The dude can kick it a mile, but his accuracy leaves a LOT to be desired...

I don't think we should give up on him. I just think he needs to be coached up some more. Damn, what ever happened to him hitting kickoffs out of the back of the end zone?

I really don't know what to do with him. Kickers are screwy people and confidence is a huge part of their game. For the first half of the year I don't think he missed a kick under 49 yards and he came frustratingly close on some really long ones. I wonder if that carried over and now his confidence is just shot. It's a tough situation and it is really frustrating to watch him fall apart.

He is too much of a veteran to just be coached out of this mess. I am at the point where I get a feeling of dread when we have to kick a FG from beyond 30 yds.

He has however done enough for this team to be given a chance to reestablish himself and it is not like there is anyone else out there for kicker right now. Maybe we can pick up Stover if the colts let him go?

Considering he changed his approach to the ball this year, maybe he needs to go back to what was working last year. Otherwise, he's kinda killing us. Thank god it didn't come down to that kick to be the difference in the game.

He obviously has the ability to be consistent at long range, I think we need to stick with him and hope he rides out this run of bad form.

Can't push the panic button. There is no one available out there who is better than him.

Some of the problems are the holder and not Crosby.

Good kickers don't grow on trees.
I think he is better than anyone else you could pick up at this point in the season.
Just look around the league and you can see how weak the kicking crop is.
Ted needs to bring in some competition for him in the off season.

Two years ago.. Crosby and Folk were in the running for most points in the league.. this season.. Crosby 8 misses and Folk now has 9... makes you wonder if something is up league wise with the K balls or if this is just an odd coincidence. Or maybe that class of kickers.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?

Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : How's the ayahuasca tea he makes, Martha?
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : Turns out he like older women
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : I wasn't supposed to say anything, but yes the word is out and we are happy 😂😂😂
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : I might be late on this but Aaron Rodgers is now married
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : Well he can always ask his brother for pointers
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : Bo Melton taking some reps at CB as well as WR
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : key transactions coming today at 3pm that will consume more cap in 2025

Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : I really thought he'd play for Packers.
