I backspaced over this post several times, but Im just gonna speak my mind here.

Seriously? Conspiracy Theory?

We lost a game to a good opponent. They played poorly. We played worse.

There is nothing else to see here, everyone in the Packers organization is on board for the same goal, to win football games. There is no "hidden timetable".

Were all a little emotional after a loss including me, but this is false.

Yup....you nailed it. I know it's getting to me, all the losing....and not JUST losing, but losing because we played like crap. If you get beat because you played your heart out and still lost, thats one thing. But there just doesn't seem to be that FIRE out on the field. They look like they are all just going through the motions.
I'm probably reading more into it then there is, it's JUST how i feel.

No conspiracy here, just a very huge ego ( Ted Thompson ) who wrote checks in the off-season, which now that the regular season is here he can't pay!!!!

4 games do not make a season, I heard on espn that AR's shoulder is sprained and not seperated, that is good news if true.

MM has got to come up with some sort of offense that will "at least a little" confuse the defense across the line.

If changes are not made I can see the Pack winning maybe 4 more games.

This is very sad, and I hope someone can bring this thread up at the end of the year and throw it in my face, but right now I just don't see how The Packers are going to win against the better teams left on their schedule.

I had this idea of not playing to win this year from TT's moves specially for his non-moves.

When I read from MM that we are using a reduced playbook this year it made sense because we can't go very far with the run-run-pass approach and the 4 or 5 magnificent plays we have šŸ™‚

Whoa there boys... it is an opinion nothing more.. just as those that were praising Aaron upon one game and projecting it forward.

We don't know where this season will go.. depends on how you interpret the data we have so far.. your viewpoint.

I can say this.. the season isn't doomed because we have lost two game nor is the season going to be a success based on 2 wins.

We have issues.. some are fixable, some are time based (Injuries).. there is no doubt about it that this team has some work to do.

While going into the season I thought we would be further ahead of where we currently are because of the large number of returning players.. all is not lost and hope is there.

Right now.. 13-3 seems out of touch.. but do we really need to be 13-3 to make the playoffs, get hot and make a run? Nope.

See the 07 Giants.. a team that at one point last season was entertaining blowing up the coaching staff and playing youth.. all is not lost.

Nor, in my opinion, are we running an experiment this season. Ted and Co. would look more the fool if this team flops.. he is doing what in his judgment is best.. might not always be popular but is what he feels is best at the given time, with the given constraints.

We shall see how it plays out..

Dude, I wasn't even talking to you and you really ought to get a grip. No need to be jumping down people's throats on the internet for crying out loud.

And you've got problems if you think "TT's ego" is the cause of all of Green Bay's woe.

I believeTed Thompsonhas told MM at the begining of the season that we were not aiming to win anything this year, I thinkTed Thompsonaims for 2010 or 2011 as the target window to seriously make this team competitive.

This is just based on a hunch feeling of course, my best piece of evidence so far is:

-----------From MM press conference-----------
How much smaller playbook get with Flynn? Haven't operated on high volume all year. Not sure how would change.

Why not use the complete playbook? Rodgers spent 3 years learning so I'm sure he does know the plays so why keep it vanilla?

We are playing vanilla offense and defense with a reduced playbook, we haven't made any push for any FA we are drafting for the future and not based on actual needs. We let Favre go.
Is this enough evidence?

They can't say it but I believeTed Thompsonhas 0 interest in how things go this year it just an experiment.

Wow, two losses and fans are already coming up with silly theories. Do you seriously believe that Thompson and McCarthy are not playing to win until 2010 or even 2011? Basically what you are saying is that they are insane. There is no such thing in the NFL as a GM with a seven-year plan.

McCarthy's comment about the playbook is interesting, and I would like to hear an explanation. I think the injuries to the receivers and O-line would be the main reasons for shrinking the playbook, as Rodgers should know it well by now.
