He is one of the 870 voters for the Heisman trophy, and I just wonder if he is pulling/voting for Suh to be the second defensive player to win it.

http://suh93.com/  <Check that site out and view some of Suh's highlights. Suh is more than worthy of the stiff arm trophy.

Complete list of known voters.

I wonder what we'll do with Justin this off season. He's due a bigger pay check this coming year so I thought he might be let go.

But we've kept him on the IR all year so one assumes we'll at least give him a chance of making the team.

If Justin somehow could stay healthy and became a force next season our DL would be brutal. I'm not holding out much hope though!

I think it if comical to imagine OJ Simpson getting his ballot opened by prison officials checking for contraband.

I think it's because of how overblown the Harrell pick is for being a "bust" that people seem to think he was a 2nd or 3rd round talent and nobody seems to have even bothered getting information on the guy. Though I would have loved to see our defensive line with Harrell on it had he lived up to his potential.

edit: just to be clear though I do think Suh will be a more dominating player than Harrell could have been.

Suh is real good. The crazy thing about the dude is they are always talking about him being what...310 pounds? He sure is a lean 310 pounder because he looks to me like 280 pound guy. Athletic and powerful...

If the Packers didn't have so many concerns in other places, I'd love for him to be a defensive end in our 3-4 scheme...*drools*

Harrell may have flashed some potential for the Vols, but Suh was the most dominant player on the field on almost a weekly basis. From the defensive tackle position, he put up a stat-line this year that would make a lot of linebackers envious.

I agree that Harrell was a legitimate first round talent when we drafted him, but at no time was he ever considered a Heisman finalist and potential first pick overall.

Hopefully Woodson gives him a vote, but I think Ingram's performance against Florida and the position he plays will get him the trophy.

Based on? Have you seen Suh play?!

There was no "potential" with Suh at the College level. He reached his potential. He was the best defensive player in the country. Heisman contender, every single down player. Harrell was a second team All-American, who had a decent season and was highly drafted in company with an overrated draft class at his position.

In terms of NFL potential, if Suh simply plays a full season, he's already surpassed Harrell.

Harrell is a big nobody as far as I'm concerned. A "bust" if you will. I see no potential in him. Injuries or not.

Even if he gets healthy, while under contract, is he anything more than a rotation player? Would you really rather see him in the game over Pickett or Raji?

I'd give up Raji & Pickett just to have Suh. He's a special player. One of those players that only comes around every few years.

Harrell should be the most grateful man alive. He has done absolutely nothing and yet has enough money to live well for the rest of his life. Everyone should be so fortunate.

There's no denying that Suh had a far better college career, but like you said, Suh has reached his potential, Harrell had not.

I personally think that he wasn't even close to it, with some of the flashes he showed. He could've been special.

Again, Suh is the more surefire guy, but I don't think that it's that much of a stretch to think that Harrell could've gone to that same level. Hence why I don't mind the pick. It's like Harvin for Vikings. At one point, the value is too high to pass up on.
