I dont actually think that there are that many more concussions going on here, though for the packers it seems that way this year. I think what is happening league wise, is that teams are being much more cautious with them than they have in the past, and likely a lot of small things that wouldn't even have been reported as concussions they're now looking at more seriously. Not just teams, but also players i think recognize the long term effects and are more apt to put serious concern into it, and not just throw themselves back in the game as they have in the past.

Yep, agree 100%. I'm not sure how serious Lang's is but I think even what you would consider "mild concussions" are being taken much more serious.

With Aaron Kampman done for the season and Jeremy Thompson out with a neck injury, look for OLB Cyril Obiozor to be promoted from the PS.

Damn I thought it was Ted Thomson at first glance. That's some serious injury having a neck stinger, yikes. I think lumpkin should be sharing time with Brandon Jackson, dude got some game when he is on the field.

Apparently, Thompson is recovering nicely. Glad to hear that.

I wonder what kind of psychological effect his had on a kid like Lumpkin. He's no Jack Tatum, or anything. Stuff like this can hurt, if you can't let it go.
