Hey fellow Packer fans. I've been a football fan since I was a little kid watching Vince Lombardi's Packer's in black and white (and the snow wasn't always on the field). I was fortunate to grow up watching some of the best football of the late 1960's in person in Oakland, California. Now my godson is trying to make it in the NFL, and he's a Packer. I'm glad he's getting the experience he's getting right now, but there's no guarantee he'll make the team. What an organization, what tradition. I've always been a Raider fan, but I've always been a football fan who appreciates good football, and the Packers have always been a first class organization. I'm proud to be a new Packer fan, and hey, if the breaks go the Packers' way, this team could go all the way. The Packers are way more solid than the Raiders, and the Raiders are improving.

Wow, another dual Raider/Packer fan. The population on this board is growing!

I think your godson might have a number of new fans.. if your comfortable post his name and some very well may pull hard for the gent.

Well I don't want to jinx him or anything, but from what I've heard, it sounds like he can play in the NFL. Somewhere I think I posted the same message two or three times cause I wasn't sure what I was doing. I'm still new to posting on these things. Sounds like a fun group here, thanks for your interest. I want to wait until after I hear how the Buffalo game went for him, and then I'll think about telling you.
Wow, glad to hear there's a Packer/Raider connection here.
