In a nutshell, the ranking system is calculated by taking a team's offensive scoring output for each game and subtracting from that the average score given up by the opposing team... Then taking the score given up by the team and subtracting from that the average scoring output of the opponent. So a team gets an adjusted offensive and defensive score for each week. I take the average of the offensive scores and subtract from that the average of the defensive scores, to get my final value.
Note: I subtract 7 points from each team's game score for defensive touchdowns. My reasoning behind this is that the offense won't get credit for their D scoring, and the opposing O loses points for giving up 7.

Oh crap! We are in the bottom half of the league already.

Tampa at #2? Not sure I buy that one. And after last night, I'm not sure if a Philly team that forces 4 turnovers and loses should be ranked in the top 5 (missing Westbrook, but still 4 turnovers forced and you lose?). The Bears are definitely not a top ten team.

Me and some guys I know via internet run a power ranking, with everyone posting their own ranks for Pass O, Run O, Run D, and Pass D. Results combined, and the higher the overall rank in all the categories, the better the team. Last week the Pack was in #10 place. This week not made yet because one game is not played yet.
