I forgot to add, I'd like someday to visit Liechtenstein.

Or rather, I'd like to be wealthy enough someday to have to visit the bankers of Liechtenstein.

:)

What any 'JarHead' won't admit though is the following..

In the civilian leadership structure of the United States military, the Marine Corps  is a component of the Department of the Navy.[/quote]

One of my football buddies is a lifer in the Marines.. on one of his leaves I brought this subject up as we were shooting the breeze and had enough to talk smart.

Boy did that piss him off.. so of course being me and bigger than he.. I keep egging him on until he actually wanted to wrestle around about it.. I found that entertaining as all hell. We still laugh about it today.

I have nothing against Europe. But the "one world government" that is taking over Europe that will be here soon has me worried.
Of course i'm not surprised.....God said it would happen.
As far as us being involved in wars. Unfortunately there are bad people out there, which if they are left alone, will try to take over the world. Just think along the lines of Adolph Hitler. There were plenty of "bleeding hearts" that didn't want the U.S. to get involved in WW2 either. They protested just like they do now. Yes, it would be great if everyone got along and "played nice". But truth is, it will NEVER be that way. Just look at North Korea and the nut job running that place, with nukes.
SOMEONE has to fight back against the bullies of the world. It's always been us. And everyone wants to turn their backs on us, and act like they are better then us...........of course until one of those nutjobs attacks them, and THEN who do you think they come to begging for help? Yup....the United States.
Lets see what France does when some country decides to attack them.

We get looked down at.....till we are needed. Then all of the sudden we are loved again.
Thats how i feel, at least.

You know that Europe is about the same size as the US?

I don't think that an united Europe is something you can stop in the long run, only delay. And it might look a lot like the US.

'We' really have to, if we want to keep up with the big boys in the world, I'm afraid. I mean, we're the size of a state and really can't defend ourselfs too well, if something where to happen. Same goes for Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal etc.

If French or German where to become an official language in the Netherlands, as a result of this unification, I'm emigrating to the US. I'll come and live with 'asshole' Dave, who in reality, is a big sap. :thumbright:

One of the problems of a "unified" Europe is that if the euro goes under, ALL the countries go under, not just one. All of Europe could collapse at once.
Plus, they all lose what makes each country unique.
Again, just my opinions......for what they are worth.

Oh, I agree about the loss of cultire. That'd be horrible. On the other side, you have a different cultire in Wisconsin than in New York, for instance. The only thing that might get lost in the long run is our language.

And again, the US and Europe are about equal in size. The US uses the Dollar. You'd have the same problem if that went under. Half of the countries in Europe already use the Euro, so we'd already be screwed if its value would plunge. Or go too high, of course.

We should just run our tab up and then repudiate our debt.

I bet that would piss the Chinese off REAL good.

I like it. lol

The International kiss my ass act of 2010.

Keep it simple.

The U.S. hereby declares that the government and the citizenry ain't payin' shit to anyone for anything they previously owed. This applies to all Americans, everywhere. If you owe 200k on your house, you are hereby authorized to tell your mortgage lender to kma. If you owe your next door neighbor for that six pack he picked up for yesterday, tell him to kma.

If the US owes a couple Trillion to China and/or Saudia Arabia..be advised...KMA.

The Europeans are certainly welcome to join in, but I'd suggest getting your nuclear stockpiles up to date, or start kissing the asses of those that got 'em, because I got a feeling they are gonna be needed... Those Chinese are tight with their money, ya know... lol Maybe a toll-free number that Americans that are overseas could call if they are getting grief for being a deadbeat...We have the Air Force drop a precision guided munition on any hotels that got a beef with our policy.

Wade could go to Monte Carlo and run up some nice fat markers and a huge hotel bill, drinkin' that hoitsy-toitsy swill he is fond of.

"That will be 40,000 Euros, Monsieur"

"Nah, I'm an American." (Because Wade is a nice guy...) "Put it on Barack's tab, he's buyin'"

My only opinions about Europe come from the statements and actions of their leaders, their economic systems, and their interactions with my loved ones. My parents have been to France and England and have been treated like shit just because they didn't speak French/didn't have a British accent. I'm not a huge fan of the idea of socialism in my own country but am hesitant to make a judgment about its implementation in a society I'm not familiar with on an intimate level. Whatever works for you.

What I absolutely can't stand is the whole "America should just mind its own business" or "Let's let the U.N. take care of it!" attitude. If the U.N. weren't completely toothless, the U.S. wouldn't need to almost single-handedly take care of everyone else's problems. Before you go complaining about starting wars and interfering in the affairs of other countries, have someone kill a few thousand of your citizens. Some people forget what 9/11 was like, I do not.

A lot of people criticize the Israelis, but forget about the tens of thousands of missiles launched at their cities in the past several years. What's happened every other time Israel has given land back besides more and more attacks? If Israel gives back everything the Palestinians are looking for now, do you think they'll suddenly stop lobbing missiles? Do you think that they won't ask for everything else? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

Israel and to a lesser extent the U.S. is under constant threat, and Europe has completely forgotten what it's like to have an enemy just waiting to completely wipe you off the map and having the rest of the world bitch at you for reacting with anything more than harsh words. Diplomacy's gotten nowhere with Iran and North Korea. Do you honestly think diplomacy with the Taliban and Saddam Hussein (Providing financial support to the families of suicide bombers) would have gone any better?

Zero2Cool (5h) : I think that's how it works.
Zero2Cool (6h) : I'd go 3 QB regardless this game.
Zero2Cool (6h) : Clifford was elevated, not activated. He doesn't play, it doesn't count.
hardrocker950 (9h) : If Clifford is active, not likely to see Jordan play this weekend
Mucky Tundra (9h) : QB Sean Clifford and CB Robert Rochell elevated from the PS for the Titans game
Zero2Cool (20-Sep) : Love questionable. Morgan is out. Valentine is doubtful
Martha Careful (20-Sep) : Rodgers and Lazard off to a very strong start
Zero2Cool (19-Sep) : Josh Jacobs. Limited.

wpr (19-Sep) : Do you know if they gave Jacobs an extra day off? I hope so.
Zero2Cool (19-Sep) : WR Jayden Reed (calf) and G Elgton Jenkins (illness/glute) returned after sitting out Wednesday.

Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : Practicing is Jordan Love!
Zero2Cool (18-Sep) : Packers are signing WR Cornelius Johnson to the Practice Squad per sources. Johnson was a 7th round pick this year.
Zero2Cool (17-Sep) : Packers placed RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve.
Zero2Cool (16-Sep) : Rams won’t have Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua when they host the Packers in Week 5.
Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : Or is that the Rusty Red Rifle because of his age?
Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : The Red Rifle Returns!
Zero2Cool (16-Sep) : Panthers are benching former No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young and starting veteran Andy Dalton beginning this week.
Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : bears still have slim chance here
Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : and there's another one!
Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : oh crap macbob has the Texans K and he keeps hitting these long FGs
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : Hope the Texans beat the brakes off the Bears
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : LaFleur: “I asked Malik why he didn’t throw it on that third down and he told me Josh threw up on the ball.”
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : i was wondering why it was just you, me, beast and macbob by the end
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Yeah it was weird today for some reason
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : Oh my, marvin harrison jr might be as good as he was billed out to be
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : and none of the chats on my phone are showing up on the desktop chat
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : weird, i was on my phone for chat during the game but now on my desktop I look at chat and there's tons of chats i didn't see on my phone
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Oh yeah, for sure. That's just not fair thoguh.
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : Zero, what I meant was that surely a tech and IT genius such as yourself would find a way to change the pick
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Well, I mean, I know I did, but might not have waited for it to register and went into Chat. Oh well
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Or so I thought I did. lol
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : I had Colts for few days to throw everyone off. At 11am or so, I changed it to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : You know if you didn't say anything you probably could have changed it and no one would have noticed ;)
Mucky Tundra (15-Sep) : Vikings over the 49ers, Bucs over the Lions
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : lol awesome. my pick for Packers didn't go through. sweet
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Packers defense has 6 Takeaways in two games.
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : nah
Martha Careful (15-Sep) : I think I've been booted out of the chat room
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Jordan Love has his left leg wrapped in a sleeve as he stands on the sidelines during National Anthem.
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Jaire Alexander, Eric Wilson and Elgton Jenkins are the Packers’ team captains today against the Colts.
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Looks like Sean Rhyan will start at right guard, based on the early warm-ups.
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : No surprise, Love inactive
Zero2Cool (15-Sep) : Inactives: 10 QB Jordan Love 27 S Kitan Oladapo 57 DL Brenton Cox Jr. 73 T Andre Dillard 79 T Travis Glover 96 DL Colby Wooden
Martha Careful (14-Sep) : Wisconsin football stinks. OL good, Pauling good. all else MEH
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Jordan Love downgraded to doubtful for tomorrow's game
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Sean Clifford just got called up. No Love tomorrow. No shock either.
