I feel sad every time I think of Eddie Lee. I think he would have been great were it not for the injuries. He had something special.

I know many that feel the same way... he seemed to have something special just to have injures take him... same with Terrence Murphy and Justin Harrell... it sucks...

I have no idea what exactly changed but he looks like a better back since we signed Green. Maybe it got him motivated or maybe Green had some helpful advice for him I don't know.

IMO.. since the Tampa loss and Mark Murphy applying a little pressure and urgency to the situation through expectations.. I think it put everyone on notice. Pick it up or think about packing it up on your stay here in Green Bay, starting at Mike McCarthy and his staff.

No ultimatum or anything.. but a general nudge in disapproval.

There is no coincidence in the fact that the intensity and urgency has changed... couple it with a offensive team meeting and business overall picked up.

I've been saying for a while that we need to draft a change of pace back. I think Brandon Jackson is good and all, but he isn't that speedy back to bring in while Grant is resting. Jackson is pretty much the same type of back as Grant. Power.

When I think change of pace, I mean something like Chris Johnson. Just someone to catch the defense off guard, and I think CJ Spiller is just that in this draft.

WOW, I can't stop talking about the draft for some reason haha.

I think Grant would be a better back if he were complemented by a speedy backup, which would help make his own shifty pace more definable.

Speaking of Grant.

Air and Ground player of the week.

Vote.

He's a solid, but not a great back. I think a speedy back, such as, C.J. Spiller via the draft would make a ton of sense for the Packers. Although, if GB makes the playoffs, Spiller will likely be gone by the time they pick. Still, you get the idea of what type of back would be a good fit along side of Grant.

He should be relied upon again this week and then things will get interesting as GB plays three tough defenses in a row.

Yes, porky, Spiller will more than likely be gone, however Jahvid Best will more than likely be there when we draft in the 2nd round (hopefully) and if there is doubt that he will be, we should trade up for him.

Noel Devine is a speedy back. 🙂

Yes, he is very speedy and will help in the return game. He has gone almost unnoticed this year.

I wouldn't mind having Devine on the team.
