The thing I was most concerned about was our makeshift secondary. and that makeshift secondary was the only unit on the team that pulled their weight, even after our backup safety had to be replaced by the backup backup safety. We need to learn how to play against the Tampa-2 and 3-4 defenses. Colledge is the new Ahmad Carrol. And I'm scared about whether or not Jenkins will be effective anymore this season. He's got talent, but when he gets an owie, he completely disappears. Very disappointing game. It's hard to win when you try to play smashmouth FB on your heels.

Without a dominant passing threat like we had last year, they will always stop our run game. Till Rodgers can make the defense pay for putting more than 5 in the box, we will be one dimensional. Our O-line is pieced together with below avg players. We need to draft a dominant guy or two in the draft next year. Dominant, not a "good depth" guy. If we have to trade up, so freakin be it. You can only keep 53 players on a roster. At some point, trading down and drafting 12 guys every year does not help you. We need some studs on the O-line and definitely need another stud cb for now and especially in the next few years.

I'm getting sick of Grant and our O-Line. I'm not pushing ALL the blame on Grant but c'mon. 15 carries for 20 yards? I do blame him and the oline for this loss, he needs to f*****g step it up. Rodgers last INT didn't help either. I really do hope Jackson starts next week. We need to start Jackson, he looks like he's improved from last season and Grant needs a break. I came into this season really excited for this team. I kno it's only two losses but my morale for this team went way down after this game. I still think we'll beat ATL next week but still you never know. I thought we'd win by atleast two TDs today n look what happened.

Almost seems that way. I HOPE thats not the case.
But until i see something positive out of him, i'll have to think he's happy with his paycheck and thats what mattered.

We need to improve our third down defense. We can never stop the other guys on third down.
