like he is over his head and has no idea of what to do. Dallas lick their chops coming in here and Ware has a huge game. Rodgers gets pissed at his line for not blocking and gets sacked atleast 5 times, 3 of which are his fault for holding on to the ball to long. we go to 4-5 and the breakdown and confusion begin >

I hope not, but just some thought.

Does this thought really merit its own thread? I mean, with such a sparse beginning, where is this thread supposed to go? There are several threads already discussing similar concepts.

Dunno but I agree with him. He looks like he's got his balls up in his throat out there. He's in a bit of a fix with that Oline.

I don't think McCarthy has looked like a nervous wreck on the sidelines.

Neither have I. Most of the time, he seems to have the typical flat affect of a head coach.

Seifert at the ESPN NFL North blog has stats that say Rodgers holding the ball too long is responsible for 1 in 4 sacks he's taken this season. So if he gets sacked 5 times today, history tells us it won't be his fault three of those 5 times.

Just sayin'.

I'm too lazy to go find the link again.

Got really annoyed when watching Jamie Dukes talk about Rodgers. 'This is the same line that Favre worked with and he did well. Tauscher is down, but otherwise they have two good tackles' or something like that.

I know that Rodgers holds it too long, but I'd like to see some numbers. How much of the sacks can you attribute to Rodgers (without time clocks that start too early and end too late) and how much did he lose on those, compared with the ones that where on the O-line.

Watching MM......most of the time, it's hard to tell if we scored a TD or had a sack. He LOOKS so emotionless on the sidelines to me.

There were a few times during the Bears game this year where he looked like he was scared to death. It was weird.

beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
