According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Pat Lee will be the dime back against Tampa, with Will Blackmon as the nickel. I'm glad to hear that Lee has passed up Jarrett Bush. Now he can start getting valuable game experience every week. If the Packers can win games without Al Harris, and he returns later in the season, they may be a stronger team than they were to begin with. Let's just hope everybody else in the secondary can heal up.

I thought Lee looked lost in coverage at least a few times during the preseason, but he really showed his athleticism on a couple of kick returns, and he seems to have a ton of potential.

Here's a link to the article. The thing about the CB's is mentioned briefly way down the page:

Thank god ... I do honestly think lee is an upgrade over bush ... but come on ... who can't win the spot of bush, I'd probably be a better cover guy then bush was or will ever be. I'm surprised his still not cut ... we should bring in law so he can teach some stuff alongside harris and woodson to the kids

haven't read the article. but, I heard that since Bigby is hurt and Collins may not start, Bush is going to be playing safety. so i don't know if it's accurate to say that Lee has "moved ahead" of Bush. Maybe more investigation is in order.

oh, and Bush sucks!

I think I lost my faith in Bush during one the pre-season games.

Bush is a horrible CB, but showed some promise playing Safety in the preseason. As a safety, he saved Pat Lee's butt a couple times this preseason. He's also a core special teams guy so I'm not surprised Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson kept him on the 53 man roster.

You make an excellent point, bozz. I didn't know that Bush would be playing safety. I didn't notice how he did at safety in the preseason, but hopefully millertime is right. He's a very good special teams guy, and if he can play safety in a pinch, then he's well worth keeping.

i don't remember seeing Bush play safety, but from what I hear, he's much more comfortable at safety than CB.

Why not sign Archuleta isn't he a free agent? :profileright: I know his not the best safety but he would do much better then bush that I'm confident of.

Why are you so sure that he would do better than Bush? He certainly gets a lot of hate from Packer fans but there aren't many instances where I've noticed Bush performing badly over the past two seasons. Granted he isn't in nearly as often as other players but players get burned sometimes. Woodson, Bigby, Harris, Collins, any corner in the league. I think we have just seen a small sample size of Bush and some of you have came to the conclusion since that small sample size didn't completely shut down the receivers that he isn't a quality player.

beast (1h) : I haven't followed, but I believe he's good when healthy, just hasn't been able to stay healthy.
dfosterf (18h) : Hasn"t Bosa missed more games than he has played in the last 3 years?
Mucky Tundra (23h) : He hasn't been too bad when healthy but I don't feel like I ever heard much about when he is
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Felt like he was more interested in his body, than football. He flashed more than I expected
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : When he was coming out, I thought he'd be flash in pan.
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : Joey seems so forgettable compared to his brother for some reason
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : NFL informed teams today that the 2025 salary cap will be roughly $277.5M-$281.5M
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Los Angeles Chargers are likely to release DE Joey Bosa this off-season as a cap casualty, per league source.
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : If the exploit is not fixed, we'll see tons of "50 top free agents, 50 perfect NFL team fits: We picked where each should sign in March" lo
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Issue should be solved, database cleaned and held strong working / meeting. Boom!
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I thought Guests couldnt post?
