I am a huge defender of TT. It's time to bust a move. Lito is not a happy camper in Philly. Personally, I think he fits our scheme of "manning-up" better than anyone, INCLUDING Asante. What is he, 27 years old? Philly doesn't want to have to deal with Drew R... I'm pretty sure we don't either, but the pluses of getting him beat the snot out of alternatives, imo. I would suspect Lito, Al and Charles would get along great, too. As I have said before, I'm really nervous about developmental CB's in our scheme. We need a cagey veteran like Lito. The Favre pick in exchange would be a no-brainer. A 2nd rounder would be a no-brainer. A first-rounder... I'll have to get back to you on that, after this week, for example, but do not be surprised if a whole lotta people are thinking a first-rounder is a no-brainer after we get smoked deep/penalized, etc. in Tampa. Price tag would escalate rapidly if that unfortunate and not totally unlikely scenario comes to fruition. If history is any guide, just a reminder, we got Al from Philly- he was thought to be a bit over-rated, was a nickel back for them... how'd THAT go? See my point?
