Woodson
Williams
Blackmon
Lee
Bush

This isnt the most terrible CB lineup in the world, but it would be nice to see someone with experienced added to this group. A plus here is that we'll be able to get some much need experience for our younger guys, to really see who's going to be here for the long term, but that might come at a pretty heavy expensive.

I would like to see a trade, but dont really see it happening, and i wont pretend i know enough to imagine who they would even trade for. 🙂

Wonder if we can convince Neon Deion to come out of retirement. Yes, I know the guy's an egomaniac but it's hard not to like him when he's returning an interception down the sidelines and you see two people behind him looking like Darren Sharper chasing Donald Driver.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he still did around a 4.3. He's been clocked at 3.99 before. Last time I saw him, he was looking good. Rock can get him back in shape fast.

You are kidding right?

What do you think of converting one of our WRs into a DB? Ruvell maybe? how about the new kid?

Heh. maybe I should have checked out his timeline before posting.

Didn't realize he's been retired for 3 years. That's what happens when you get older. Time goes by so fast.

I still want Lito. I'm sure it's unrealistic of me, but given my own lack of faith in our depth and his fit for the kind of defense we like to run, I think he'd be worth a draft pick. The plus is, when Al is healthy, we'd have 3 sick, sick CBs -- I'd like to see how much time Romo would need to find someone open with those 3 on the field.

I like to dream, you see.

That didn't turn out to great with Blackmon, I'd rather pick up a regular cornerback, or just let our guys handle it.

Woodson and Harris aren't getting any younger and I asume at least one of the young guys we currently have will be a starter some day.

Blackmon was a good WR. Great? Probably not, but thats like saying a '76 Ford Pinto doesn't have a great 0 - 60 time. He's a Cornerback and played Wide Receiver because his team needed him to. He didn't play WR because he thought he would be the next Jerry Rice. He did it to help his team. After seeing him a few years now I wouldn't doubt he could pull it off being a solid 2 or 3 WR.

I meant he didn't change from a WR to a CB very well, he's a good returner, but not a great coverage guy.

I don't know alot about his college career though, since I don't follow NCAA football alot.

Or I'm just miss-understanding you.

beast (15h) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (15h) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (15h) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
