Why should anyone care about what a Browns fans, Steelers fan, and Dolphins fan roots for in this game?

The booing was ridiculous when the game started though. They didn't have to boo him when he was shown on the screen between plays or something. I thought that was a little ridiculous, but it really isn't that big of a deal.

EDIT:

I hope people weren't idiots after the game and into tonight though. That would be classless.

Pathetic. Booing the opposing team's QB is classless. Amazing what petty people will gripe about. Even Brett said the fans should boo him.

I didn't boo because I just don't care for booing. It's just not my thing. Some like it, some don't. I just never found it worth while. Even as Brett said, being booed was better than nothing at all and that's what he got from me, nothing.

Not booing and/or just being silent would have sent a stronger message to Brett than booing him.

But to call booing classless, that's being petty and just looking for a reason to whine about something.

Edit, What was classless that (per a report) someone threw something at Brett. That's unacceptable. That person should have there tickets removed from them permanently.

I can understand the booing when the game started but not when Brett first came out on the field. I think all that booing made him play better, I know it would have made me play better.

Who where in no way influenced by your constant anti-TT and Favre fisting remarks.

But I agree, it did appear to be a little over the top at times. It was to be expected after the divorce, him QB-ing the Vikings and what not, though.

I'm with Porky. I just hope that the fans won't act like idiots tonight. And I really hope that the reports of people throwing stuff at Favre where untrue.

It wasn't just "an opposing teams QB" and it wasn't "just SOME booing"

Fans don't boo like that for any other "opposing teams qb"

Who cares anyway those boos turned to tears in the end.

Yea, the loss sucked. He played well. I'll give him credit, but he deserved the boos.

Yup, they did not look like "the best fans in the world" or "the most educated fans in the world" today. I was a little dissapointed. They did redeem themselves at the end when Favre raised his arms and there was a big cheer. Also, during the game, there were obviously many cheering for Brett, if not Minny.

Are we done booing? Favre played a heck of a game. Congrats to him.

I don't like to lose and I thought the Packers looked like the Browns in the first half.

Had they come out in the 1st half and played like they did in the 2nd half, they would have won.

I think we are a young, impressionable team and their lack of maturity showed today.

Favre did have a great day. I got no problem with that. We could have won this game, though... I have a problem with that. They are what I thought they were. We are what I thought they were. MM fucked up, imo.

Other than that, I'm moving on.

Did you see my draft pick post?

Some decent prospects at OT in the first round.

I'm excited, lol

It seemed as if the Packers as a whole were sort of expecting Favre to crumble under the pressure when they should have been FORCING the issue by playing hard and NOT letting up.

Bonehead penalties are also a sign of immaturity.

They showed that they have real potential when they rebounded in the 2nd half to make things interesting.

Good to know Packers aren't the Browns anyway.

dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
