Hahahaha, dd80 is funny.

What a lame dude.

You're right man. The Redskins are better then the Packers. Let's trade teams then!! You know, since they're so much better and all. Their great QB, solid receivers, promising young defensive talent, etc. How about their $100 million dollar man Haynesworth? Maybe Hall? That's really working out. How about Portis? Yeah man, I would say you are right. Let's switch teams now. The Redskins are FAR superior, and anyone who doesn't see that is obviously ignorant.

Plus 1 dude, plus 1. You make some really "good" points.

You know what!

I agree with you! I think Snyder sucks to

But since you bit the hook heres a bit of info for you.

The Daniel Snyder led Redskins have a 1 game advamtage record-wise in the last 4 years over the Ted Thompson led Packers.

So everything you say about Snyder goes for Thompson. Different approaches same result - Failure

So to sum it up in your own words.....

Ha, Thompson is a freaking joke in football.

His franchise are a laughing stock.

They are a train wreck of a franchise

Now be hypocritical and go off into some rant about cap space, or untapped talent or how we will win games in 2012

Snyder is a joke.....but he's not quite as much of a joke as Ted Thompson. At least he tries to improve his team

The Packers were better than their record last year. Look at all the players we lost for the season. Our depth just got depleted. Plus KGB couldn't do it anymore.

When asked if Snyder was a good GM?

Answer is, NO.

Yet when faced with the FACT that Snyder has a better record over the last 4 years then Ted Thompson has it reverts to mumbling about traveling comedy shows.

I love watching people squirm. It's funny. What no facts to back anything up?

I didn't even see you post any evidence of you're so-called "facts."

2005: Pack (4-12) Redskins (10-6)
2006: Pack (8-8) Redskins (5-11)
2007: Pack (13-3) Redskins (9-7)
2008: Pack (6-10) Redskins (8-8)

Packers (31-33) Redskins (32-32). You were correct in saying the Redskins had the better record but by one win? Oh yea, let's add this year and the Packers are on top. Not to mention that the Packers (4-2) are a youthful team that's just now developing into the team they've been built to be while the Redskins (2-5) are doing terrible and have a power struggle in the coaches office.

What does the Skins salary cap look like? They just signed Haynesworth to a $100 million contract, iirc.

I see a comment about dd80's avatar. It should be known that I changed it to the Vikings a few days ago. He can change it whenever he'd like to, but don't use his avatar against him because that was done by me. Again, he can change it at anytime ...

Also, anyone can post here even if their a Bears fan or Vikings fan or any fan. All I ask is a little respect and common sense be used and there's a handful who would rather re-hash the past over and over again because arguing is something they like doing. These said members have the opportunity to contribute tastefully but unfortunately choose not to at times.

I'm just making an observation.

I feel like alot of you guys get blinded by your fandom.

You guys defend Ted Thompson to no end but the REALITY is he has damn near the same record as Daniel Snyder, yet he is the worst.

You guys don't see the hypocritical nature in that. You guys are optimistic and blind sometimes.

Sure the Packers have talented young guys, but so do the Redskins.

Sure the Packers have salary cap space, but who cares, they don't give trophies out for that.

You can think they are "better" than their record indicates, but alot of Redskins fans will say the same thing about their team.

It can piss you off but it is what it is. Ted Thompson and Snyder have had about the same success in this league. That is fact! The difference is you see it through Gold and Green glasses when looking at it one way. Yet when the glasses come off and you analyze the Redskins you become objective.

Another piss-poor year this year will be met with the same excuses. Same "Talent" "Depth" 'Better than we are" arguments will be scribbled across this website all off-season.

We are not Deep, overly talented, or getting screwed by the gods. We are just not that damn good, and that is a result of the leadership.

Again you are comparing Snyder and Thompson as if they hold the same job positions. The Redskins GM is VP Vinny Cerrato. And you say many people here are blinded by their fandom? Look in the mirror much, Favre-homer?

edit: and there's nothing wrong with being a Favre-homer. That's fine. But then you get all up in everyone's face at a Packer message board about being blinded by fandom. C'mon Man!

Plus it's easier just saying "you love Brett Favre" then defending TT's mediocre record with facts.

Zero2Cool (1h) : We'd have same Division and Conference records. Strength of schedule we edge them
Zero2Cool (1h) : I just checked. What tie breaker?
bboystyle (1h) : yes its possible but unlikely. If we do get the 5th, we face the NFCS winner
Zero2Cool (1h) : Ahh, ok.
bboystyle (1h) : yes due to tie breaker
Zero2Cool (1h) : I mean, unlikely, yes, but mathematically, 5th is possible by what I'm reading.
Zero2Cool (1h) : If Vikings lose out, Packers win out, Packers get 5th, right?
bboystyle (1h) : Minny isnt going to lose out so 5th seed is out of the equation. We are playing for the 6th or 7th seed which makes no difference
Mucky Tundra (2h) : beast, the ad revenue goes to the broadcast company but they gotta pay to air the game on their channel/network
beast (3h) : If we win tonight the game is still relative in terms of 5th, 6th or 7th seed... win and it's 5th or 6th, lose and it's 6th or 7th
beast (3h) : Mucky, I thought the ad revenue went to the broadcasting companies or the NFL, at least not directly
Zero2Cool (3h) : I think the revenue share is moot, isn't it? That's the CBA an Salary Cap handling that.
bboystyle (3h) : i mean game becomes irrelevant if we win tonight. Just a game where we are trying to play spoilers to Vikings chance at the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (3h) : beast, I would guess ad revenue from more eyes watching tv
Zero2Cool (4h) : I would think it would hurt the home team because people would have to cancel last minute maybe? i dunno
beast (4h) : I agree that it's BS for fans planning on going to the game. But how does it bring in more money? I'm guessing indirectly?
packerfanoutwest (4h) : bs on flexing the game....they do it for the $$league$$, not the hometown fans
Zero2Cool (5h) : I see what you did there Mucky
Zero2Cool (5h) : dammit. 3:25pm
Zero2Cool (5h) : Packers Vikings flexed to 3:35pm
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Upon receiving the news about Luke Musgrave, I immediately fell to the ground
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Yeah baby!
Zero2Cool (5h) : LUKE MUSGRAVE PLAYING TONIGHT~!~~~~WOWHOAAOHAOAA yah
Zero2Cool (6h) : I wanna kill new QB's ... blitz the crap out of them.
beast (6h) : Barry seemed to get too conservative against new QBs, Hafley doesn't have that issue
Zero2Cool (7h) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (7h) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (7h) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (7h) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (7h) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (8h) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (8h) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (8h) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (8h) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (8h) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (8h) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (8h) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (8h) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (8h) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (8h) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (8h) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (8h) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (8h) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (8h) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (8h) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (8h) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (8h) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (8h) : Packers will get in
beast (8h) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
