In every good story the apprentice loses to his master the first time, but the second time the apprentice overcomes his master and curb stomps him (figuratively, not literally). I hope to see the sequel to that video next week after the packers win.

This isn't star wars. Favre's gonna have a great game and the Packers are gonna get "blowed out" as Emmit Smith would say.

1: We've got a LT.
2: We've got Bigby back.
3: Antoine Winfield is OUT.
We lost Finley, but these other factors make up for that. We also got Ahman Green, who could be a secret weapon.

LMAO - "We also got Ahman Green". Good luck with that. :thumbleft:

You still don't have a LT.

Antoine being out is a huge deal. AR should be able to pass all day and consistently reach the Red Zone...so long as you can keep the master of mullets out of his face all game.

While I appreciate the 'goodwill' that LTF and WPR expressed, I was waiting for someone to fire away..

I wasn't looking at the numbers. I was looking at how Favre leaving the Packers and joining the Jets and ultimately the Vikes equaled Rodgers starting in GB. Pretty simple. I never try to overcomplicate things, and this required a bit of 'over complicating' to enjoy the whole schtick.

What can I say? I'm a pretty simple guy.

Lang is a huge upgrade over Colledge at the position, and imo, an upgrade over Clifton. Especially in the running game.
As for Green, he's solid on third downs and he can catch the ball out of the backfield. That ads a whole new dimension to the Packers offense.

This isn't 2003. Green is done. He was great back in the day when he wasnt fumbling but those days are done. He is a non factor. Just keep in mind, beating the Lions and Browns is the equivalent of beating a short handed practice squad. Dont read too much into it. I care about you and don't want you to get too down when the Vikings blow out the Packers.

Grass surface would tend to benefit the better running team and short passing game team. Sounds like Minny to me.
