Aaron Rodgers has seen three playoff runs derailed by the San Francisco 49ers. Here's why it could be a different outcome this time.

One: Aaron Rodgers vs. Jimmy Garoppolo
Two: Turnovers
Three: Lambeau Field

Look at the guys we're getting back. We're stacked this year. Last year we lost Bakhtiari, had Turner out there at LT.

But to answer your question, no, I don't agree with his reasoning, that those are why the Packers will win.

To me, this will come down more to players health and scheme...

First off the 49ers have a great pass rush, even without Boss, but of course even better with Bosa. But Packers are going to be trying their best to limit pressure on Rodgers by getting that ball out fast. And I'm expecting Cobb's to be back with Adams, both whom Rodgers trust a lot (which is extremely important, as the 49ers coordinator likes running a lot of man coverage, which had Rodgers looking for Adams a lot!), and I think this team has a lot more faith in Dillon since these teams last met. Also hopefully the OL is back to full strength with Bakhtiari, Meyers and Turner all back and healthy. But should the Packers win, scheming to keep that pressure off the QB will be key. And Packers used a lot of trick on Bosa trying to keep him off Nijman, for Nijman's first start, including plays making Bosa going lateral or back, and not letting him pin his ears back. I believe Packers offense struggled a bit, and then the 49ers lost a CB or two to injury which helped a lot. Also LB Fred Warner, if fully healthy, can do an amazing job of taking away the RB swing pass which is an absolutely huge part of this scheme.

Both teams should be running the ball hard and often. Packers weakness is run stopping, which Packers will have to have better schemes for stopping the run now that the 49ers have gotten their running game going. But should the Packers win, it'll be because they limited the running game, the TEs (Kittle) and the FB and forced Jimmy G beat them. Packers defense did well in week 3

Another extremely important issue is tackling, both TE Kittle and Samual are some of the very best tackle breakers in the entire NFL, even when they make a catch, you got to stop them from picking up extra yardage. Packers defense seemed to be able to stop them earlier this season, until they lost Barnes and Lancaster to concussions (and those two graded out the best of the defenders), and 49ers just started abusing ILB Summers and Burks after Barnes went down with Kittle and the FB (whomever Campbell wasn't on), and that 2nd ILB/3rd Safety/dime roll is probably the weakest point on our team and the 49ers certainly will attack it with TEs and FBs. Barnes did a great job, but when he went down, we were looking screwed as they kept hitting that over and over driving down the field and struggle to tackle Kittle.

I've been watching and reading Packer fans complaining about how the GB is over matched and will lose the game. All 4 teams left are very good. All can win. GB is playing at home. It's winter. Rodgers is elite. Defense is above average. They can be elite at times.
I like our chances.

Though, I am a bit scared about Lions trick plays being done on us in the playoffs...

If we don't get fooled, I think we got a great chance, as long as we're able to match their physical play.

I'm more interested how they plan on covering Kittle, FB and when they put Samuel at RB.
