After thinking about it, Finley being out might hurt us more than we think this game. TEs have been killing the Vikes. Especially TEs like Vernon Davis and Jermichael Finley.

Donald Lee is an average TE, but nothing more than that. Not a weapon by any means. We could've used Finley so well in this game.

Since we are dropping names like candy.. For a couple game stretch on the receiving side.. Marvin Harrison. He is aged like some of the above names.

Want one that I think is a real possibility and could help the return game quite rapidly.. Kole Heckendorf. Spent camp here.. late cut and currently on the Lions PS..

I don't think any moves have to be made.

Can an outsider be ready in a couple of practices?? Unlikely.

Driver, Jennings, and Jones can handle it. You may adjust for pressure by keeping an extra blocker instead of going 4 wide.

Havener, Lee, Ahman Green for dump offs (Grant or Jackson if you have to).

Which is quicker taining a new guy or Nelson being back?

Elevate a 2nd year practice squad guy if it is really necessary.

It might not be so bad if Jordy wasn't down for at least a few more weeks himself.

So...Jennings, Driver, Jones, Lee and Havner? We need another body for receiver. I hope Finley can go.
