The game has world wide appeal.

So why not make the NFL world wide

Why should the fans in the USA have it all to themselves

2 teams in Europe one in the AFC one in the NFC.

Make it an 18 game season

Remember when it was a 28 team league two divisons out of the 3 in each conference had 5 teams each and no-one complained it was easier for the teams in a 4 team division to qualify for the playoffs.

I want an NFC team in London so I can see the Packers play here regularly.

Forget putting the team in the east put them in the north so I see the packers once a year.

To be honest will it happen??????

I live in England, and love watching the NFL, but this idea strikes me as daft. It's at least 11 hour flight to the West Coast, and 8 to the East, plus all the other transport details. I would think having a single franchise on the other side of the world would be a logistical nightmare. Not to mention the fact that travelling costs would be extremely prohibitive. And jet lag and other effects on the players themselves would lead to football spectacles that were below the regular performance level of the team.

But playing more games in London, that would be a good idea. Probably should hold a London game the week prior to, or after, a bye week for both teams.

Lets not forget NFL Europe.. A few games there a year should be fine, IMO.

I actually think the idea of a SuperBowl in London is kind of cool. Give me a European city any day over the American alternatives. And London is my favorite city. (Okay, favorite in England, but no one's proposing Glasgow or Edinburgh.)

Of course February in Britain can be rather dreary, which makes it unattractive for corporate schmoozing types which really is all that matters for the NFL.

But I sort of like the idea of a true "neutral venue". And with SuperBowl, the distance wouldn't be an issue.

As for the idea of more reg season games in London, or having a London team, that does strike me as daft. Maybe if we had supersonic jet transport available, but otherwise. No.

But in the end -- climate and the need to satisfy corp types make Super Bowl in London" a "never happen" idea.

I think a UK Superbowl isent going to be far away. With the notion of so much happening in the UK in the oneies (2010-2019)
