Agreed. O-Line needs to be addressed before you can even think about bringing in another RB. I don't think even Adrian Peterson could run behind this line.

So they should have signed an o-lineman to replace an injured RB? Especially when the current back up running back has been injured for all but 1 game?

He's had the same amount of seasons with a sub 4.0 yars per carry as Grant, if you project 2010 over the course of the season. Of course, Grant may improve, but this move is a low risk-high reward move which is similar to our trade for Grant in the first place. They remind me of eachother, big downhill running backs so hopefully Green can be Grants mentor and show him how he succeeded in every aspect aside from his fumbles and carrying the ball in one hand.

+1 kingdom! I agree about the blocking, but also would have preferred rhodes.

I know that options are limited, at best, by this point, but is Ted Thompson only going to look at packer retreads to get through this season? I heard hornung, levens, and frank winters are still around.

This is absurd. Tauscher was in the plans from the get go. They knew he'd be available health wise after October 1st. Were they supposed to sign him, pay him for rehabbing?

I can't believe this over reaction from some fans. It's freaking incredible.

I don't know why we keep rehashing getting new lineman this year. It's not going to happen. Stick a fork in Clifton, and I'd be surprised if Tauscher started this year to be honest.

Here you go for the rest of the years: Lang, College, Spitz, Sitton, and Babre. Backups will be Clifton, Wells, Tauscher and Breno.

I actually think we will be able to start running the ball with this o-line because Clifton and Tauscher for the last few years have really not been doing the job.

I haven't made my mind up on Lang at LT yet for the future, but what a surprise he might turn out to be. I remember a guy named Ross Verba stepping up for our super bowl run. He was kind of a tweener too. Next year's draft, OT has to be addressed.

I loved Green when he was with the Pack before. And if you're not going to improve the run game/help take pressure off the QB by adding on the OL, you might as well try to improve your RB corps. With ole Softy Wynn down yet again and Jackson's iffy health, we needed another back.

Welcome home, Ahman.

On the bright side. Green played very little his first two pro years, and hasn't had as much the last two years. If we are lucky those two factors may have left some gas in the tank for us.

why would you plan to let someone that you covet float around in free agency? The chiefs worked him out a week before the packers signed him, so he very easily could not have become a viable option.

Maybe Tauscher was using their workout as a practice for GB. He knew it was coming up, and wanted to put a bigger test on his knee for confidence. I believe there was an agreement between Tauscher in the Packers, that as long as he was healthy he was going to be brought back.

Martha Careful (13h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
