Another example of political correctness.

When I grew up, I brought a knife to school every single day. No, not a folding camping eating knife like this kid had but a real knife. Boys should always have knives and cigarette lighters.

It's also an example of the pussification of American males. They don't like handy males.

Oh my god, it's Columbine all over again. Get the hell out of here. We used to bring chinese stars and other weapons to school when i was 7 years old and nobody said a damn thing.

I don't know what everyone's problem is. After all, schools are places of incarceration. Whoever heard of allowing inmates sharp instruments?
