I saw he had lot of playing time and when I noticed he was in there I tried to just watch him...

It did appear he was doing EXACTLY what was asked on his blocking plays..Hit hard at the point of attack and his guys never were in on the plays..

Is that what others saw?

How do you know EXACTLY what he was asked to do?

Anyhow.

Quinn did good from what I seen. Meaning, he hit people, hard ... I like that.

I knew someone would nit pick....Glad you didnt disappoint!!

My understanding is that when its a running play his job to to take on a defender and block him and that is what I saw..

Better? LOl

Grant never seems to follow a blocker. There were two instances where he bounced it outside instead of following Quinn through the hole. But when Grant runs through the hole, he gets tripped up, or runs smack into the arms of defenders.

Quinn has great potential to be a great blocking FB. Mack Strong type FB. Not to mention the guy is HUGE! Dilemma will be should we keep Kuhn or Hall? Or neither.

In all honesty, it's probably going to come down to the financial situation more than anything. Hall and Johnson are still under contract for 2010. Kuhn is not. Considering the amount of potential FAs the Packers could be dealing with once '09 is over, Kuhn is probably one guy who they will let walk.

Although, that might all be mute if we go into 2010 as an uncapped year. Then Kuhn just becomes an RFA again and he'll probably be back.

I think we need to let Quinn be our short yardage back.....I know Kuhn is doing a good job but I just want to see how good Quinn is at doing it.

I don't think there was ever question on Quinn laying wood on running plays. He has been doing that since day 1. What needs to be watched is his assignment knowledge in passing and blitz pickup and his bail out routes.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
