Alright I may be wrong on this but somewhere in the 3rd quarter the Lions had the ball and it was second and long. Daunte Culpepper scrambled for a few yards to the 26 yard line to setup a 3rd and 9. Next thing I knew the Lions were lined up at the 30 yard line with first and 10. We had a DVR and we rewinded it and could not tell what had happened? This was when Culpepper came off the field and Stanton went in. If they did end up explaining it I may have missed it because I don't pay much attention to the commentators and it's loud where I watch the game.

EDIT: Nevermind I looked it up on the play-by-play at yahoo:

1st-10, DET23 14:57 K. Smith rushed to the right for 3 yard loss
2nd-13, DET20 14:20 GB committed 10 yard penalty
1st-10, DET30 14:05 K. Smith rushed up the middle for 1 yard gain
2nd-9, DET31 13:23 D. Stanton incomplete pass to the right
3rd-9, DET31 13:19 DET committed 5 yard penalty
3rd-14, DET26 13:19 D. Stanton incomplete pass to the left
4th-14, DET26 13:00 N. Harris punt. C. Woodson returned punt for no gain

Apparently the Packers had a ten-yard penalty but why the hell didn't they show it on the TV?

When you have about 40 penalties per game, they might miss one from time to time.

Even Wayne Larrivee missed the call on the radio feed and didn't mention the penalty until just before the next snap. Then again, the referee was very slow in announcing it.

I think the announcers were too busy yapping away about Culpepper pulling his hammy or whatever to mention the penalty

Wait, I thought Illegal contact was a five yard penalty. Why did they get ten yards?
