Question: Are you holding the ball too long?

You know what? I'm playing the way I feel like I'm playing. I'm playing with instincts and, yeah, a couple times I probably held the ball a little too long but we need to all do our jobs, myself included, and I'm going to do better and get the ball out of my hands as quickly as I can. But we need to protect a little better as well."

True I suppose, but I'm a little surprised he didn't go the typical "blame yourself and casually hint at the possibility that others aren't carrying their weight" route.

I agree with Rodgers when he says, "we all need to do our jobs" and I am sure as he is putting blame on himself, he wishes the damn offensive line would hold up.

MM pisses me off in this article. NO quarterback can read 1,2,3 patterns when he is worrying about his life 95% of the time. Glad you think it is so simple Mike, fix the o-line and Rodgers will be the quarterback you want him to be.

Good answer. I'd be disappointed if he didn't stick up for himself a little. Didn't throw anyone under any buses, took a fair amount of blame on himself, but defended his play, as he should. I don't want a starting QB out there doubting himself, much less doing so to the press.

I like the fact that he is playing nice with the teammates in public, but I surely hope he is riding them a little in the huddle and at practice..

Part of being a team leader is accountability.. Rodgers has shown self accountability but I hope this pussy footing around the root problem is only for public consumption.

I'm playing the way I feel like I'm playing.

what does that mean. the guy needs to get rid of the ball quicker. if he wants to feel differently, he'll be going through some real pain.

that line sucks, but cmon dude, dbl pumping in the end zone with jared allen running free was just plain silly.

He answered it perfectly i think. Took some blame, and pointed out that there needs to be more protection.
