Mangini's trying to get his entire NY Jets team on the Browns, it appears. He once again traded with the Jets and he once again included some no-name players into the trade who he was developping when coaching the Jets. We'll see how that'll work out. (Given, Stuckey's not that much of a no name, but he's nothing more than a developmental receiver, either). I wonder what these undisclosed draft picks are, but it can't be more than a 4th and 6th or something.
Anyway, good trade for both sides. Edwards needed to start over somewhere else. Maybe get some better coaching. Mangini gets some of his players back and gets rid of a failing receiver.
And i'm somewhat happy that Crabtree signed. It would've been pretty funny to see the 49ers lower their offer now that they're getting more and more leverage. I really wouldn't have minded if he entered the draft again next year and fell to the third round or something. I guess that he considered that possibility himself, as well.
