The Packers haven't re-signed Tauscher yet and might not do so until next week. There's probably no reason to do it this week during the team's bye because they aren't scheduled to practice at all this week and players were excused for the week today.

Um, why? Don't we have a few issues to fix. Like, uh, giving up 20. Sacks. In. 4. Games?

Really? Seriously?

C'mon now, they've had training camp, oh the OTA's and practice each week. That shit hasn't helped, why continue it? Just WING IT BABY!!

Campen should let the O-linemen come in on their own. Show that you're taking some initiative to keep our QB safe. Not only will it get up PR, but it might actually help.

Just go over the things that should be standard by now. Footwork, kick slide. Just the basics. This'd be a great time to do that.

Another strike against McCarthy. Time off IMO is an award for playing good and winning. When they play as bad as they have been, they should be running two a days again.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

This is about as stupid as boys fans bitchin bout romo going to cancun. This is standard procedure for players to get a week off. If anything it help them focus by getting away.
Real question is what are the coaches and front office doing on this bye week hopefully they are hard at crunchiing tape and figuring out what the hell is up.
I am therefor I think.

It's not standard. Many teams are allowed one or two days off, that's it. Holmgren I remember if we lost we'd be practicing the whole week as if it was a normal game week. If we won and he was in a good mood, he'd let them have the week off.

They got cut loose today and would likely have to be back monday right for treatments so 4 days off
I am therefor I think.

They started watching film today so they're not just sitting around idly. It just means they have until next week for actual practice, which in my opinion is kind of wasting the extra time you're afforded but whatever.

This doesn't make sense to me either. A day or two off to heal any nagging injuries, sure.. but the entire week? We need to get some work in.
