Maybe the players just need a few days to clear out their heads, get away from it for a little while, rest up any soreness and come back focussed.

Or maybe the players have too many days to waste away, forgetting vital fundamentals and being even more sloppy.

We'll see which one is true.

I am pretty sure the coaches and staff discussed this at length on what was the best way to handle it all

but I still think it is to much time off

Leading the league in drops, near the top in penalties AGAIN, can't protect the quarterback, can't sack the opposing qb, constant mental errors, and they get the week off?

Yeah, that will teach em!

Who knows it might? If the Packers coaching staff has disciplined them enough to feel guilty about their mistakes they might come back next week hungry. If not we might have another sorrowful season on our hands.

Why put in anymore work when things are going so well?

What! The things he has been talking about fixing for 4 years?

They can wait!

Go on boys you have done so well, go out and have a good time.

Just don't get arrested or shoot yourself and all is well.

Eh, I don't have a problem with it. It's like being at the free throw line. If you made the first, you stay there and keep it rolling. If you miss it, you back off and reset. It's time to reset.

We still practiced on bye weeks in high school. Kinda pathetic IMO.

If we were 4-0 I might not have a problem. But we're 2-2 and in 3rd place in our division coming off a terrible performance.

I don't have a large issue with the players getting a couple days off.. but the freaking coaching staff and pro scouts better be turning over every freaking stone this week.

Maybe offering our first born for Joe Thomas from the Browns.. that franchise is going to hell in a hand basket quick.. maybe we can stroke them out of a franchise tackle for a first and some additional package. If I am going to dream.. dream big.. lol.
