This just in: Refs are tired of picking up the flag after every down. They are filling a complain to the NFL for too many penalties committed by the Packers. Due to Packers over penalizing in the game Refs are asking for a raise for every time they throw the flag and pick it off.

The league answers with : Let them play the damn game and don't throw flags on their DBs by default whenever they cover someone.

That flag on Wood would of made me furious but since there was another flag on us anyway I've moved on

I know there was another flag but by the way this game went I'm sure that flag also was a bad call.

UPDATE: The NFL has given the refs the option of tying a string to their flags when they are doing Packer games. Thus, they don't have to bend down to pick them up after each play. They are even toying with the idea of just letting them stay on the ground and dragging them along with them as they watch each play. This will cut down on the possibility of carpel tunnel from the condstant throwing motion when they throw the flags.

Fuck the refs. I normally do NOT complain about bad calls, but come on... ZERO penalties against the Vikings until the game was out of reach? Are you shitting me? I saw Kampman's helmet get turned sideways on a facemask. I saw Jenkins get hooked around the neck and taken down on a pass rush. The commentators were talking about Rice getting away with a terrible hold in the red zone. No flags, of course. It wasn't just the ESPN crew slobbering all over Favre's knob last night. I think Minnesota's O-line could have pulled guns and shot the pass rushers and the refs wouldn't have called anything. As long as old man Favre was protected.

Of course the best was letting the play continue on Rodgers' fumble. If a QB is in the grasp of a defender and another defender is coming at him, that play is IMMEDIATELY dead.

But you know what, that's fine. I'm already ready for Nov. 1. It's time to bring the pain.

Reality is, this is what happens when a team commits a lot of penalties. The Refs start watching closer. It is a natural reaction. What pisses me of, is the holds on Jordy's two kick returns. Both no where near the play. Shit like that shouldn't be called.

Woody gets called for holding when he and Berrian (I think) were mixing it up, both grabbing each other, and of course the D is going to get called.

They did seem to give MN lots of leeway though. There were some pretty noticeable holds not called, and Loadholt had his hand completely inside of Kampmans facemask that was missed.

We are known for being a stupid team. We have earned that reputation. So we aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt.

The Woodson penalty was bullshit, but there was also a legitimate offsides on that play which would have negated the INT anyway.

And the taunting on Chillar was correctly called. By rule, you cannot stand over a player like that and taunt. He should know that.

Yea but there were back to back offsides calls, I just think something was up. Allen got an awesome jump on almost every snap, I know he is good but seriously I think he was offside!

If a player is getting a jump, we need to adjust the snap count then. Problem is we are in shotgun to much so we don't have that snap count to play with. They are going off the Center. When he raises his head, they do a 1thousand 1 go.
