Packers Touchdown - Shot

Favre Interception - Shot

Favre Sacked - Shot

Favre Cries - Shot

Favre Touchdown Throw - Shot (I'm sure plenty will be doing this one regardless if you're playing)

Anybody else going to partake in this insanity with me?

Favre is a Viking, let's drink away the pain!

Should be fun. We also need have rules for cliches announcers use... Each football cliche gets a swig of beer.

Some of my favorite/hated football cliches...

_________ is dangerous in space.

don't let ___________ get to the second level of the defense

look at _______________ playing like he's a rookie again!

______________ can squeeze the ball in tight spaces

it looks like __________ might have forced that throw a bit.

and the kick is..... through the uprights....

bragging rights on the line

when you give __________ time, he'll make you pay

_______________ being covered by a linebacker! That's a mismatch ___________ will win every time.

____________ wishes he could have that throw back.

if ____________, comes down with that ball, he's going for six.

student vs. teacher or some version of that cliche

referring to a veteran as crafty, or a rookie as poised

key words/themes that require swigs: inconclusive evidence, Rodger Goodell, TV timeout, Williams Wall, shots of Jared Allen without his helmet on, anytime Raji sits in front of a fan, special team penalties, Allen Barbre mistakes

announcer specific shot provokers:
references to Ron Jaworski's career, Gruden profanities, Mike Tirico being afraid to interrupt the other two

This one in particularly drives me nuts because it's completely meaningless. At the very least it's tautologically redundant. You could truncate the "in space" and get an identical meaning.

Or, for that matter, you could add the phrase "in space" to almost any sentence without significantly altering it. "I like eating in space." "He prefers to drive in space." "My computer sits on the desk in space." Unless you're grappling with a singularity, everything is in space.

Then again, it's fun to add "in bed" to the end of Chinese fortune cookie fortunes too. šŸ˜‰

If any mention of Favre "just loving the game" or playing with a "gunslinger mentality" followed with a swig of beer, we'd all be dead of alcohol poisoning.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Zero2Cool (35m) : I'm not sure it ever bodes well when you have to tell your team leader to be more vocal.

Martha Careful (14-Jan) : Why is it that the Rams rookies can contribute right away but our first and second year guys are too young to contribute in a meaningful way
Martha Careful (14-Jan) : Yes, Saquon Barkley had a very nice game. But he has a much better offensive line in front of him. I'll take Josh Jacob's. I love the guy
