I hope this doesn't come off as disrespectful of your thoughts and efforts on the subject, RedSox, but who gives a shit? If I was worried about how I was perceived by fans of other teams, I would have a new favorite team every week. But I don't. I love the Packers, and if fans of another team hate me because I'm a Packer fan, they can kiss my ass.

That is ultimately the bottom line. We have this guilty pleasure, some more than others, but we choose what we choose.

Summed up quite a few threads, Bozz, much less posts...Possibly even some perspectives, but I will leave that to others.

Anyway, +1

If 90% of people now turning on Favre is because of a few people refusing to criticize Favre, then he did not mean that much to that fan base in the first place IMO.

Possibly, but everyone knows he wanted to play for the Vikings from day 1 when he first learned he was going to have to compete for his old job. This is where Favre wanted to be the entire time and now he is here. I really don't think he'll end up on another squad unless he still wants to play next year and the Vikings organization doesn't want him back...which admittedly is a small possibility.

it's simply what i see as the tail-end of the Favre bandwagoneering. all he has to do is pretend to be the humble, teary-eyed joe from nowheresville and people scream "LEAVE BRETTNEY ALONE!!!"

it'll blow over soon enough.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Zero2Cool (6h) : LB Oren Burks to sign a 2-year, $5M deal with the Bengals.
Zero2Cool (6h) : Based on how it was worded at the time, probably scout.
beast (6h) : I don't think the media person ever told the public the source, but Gute or LaFleur did say they thought Tom has earned his spot at OT
beast (6h) : I think it was supposedly unnamed Packers source
buckeyepackfan (7h) : Was that Gute or Lefleur or someone else?
buckeyepackfan (7h) : Zach Tom could be a really good guard, an all pro tackle, but probably be a HOF Center. Who said that?
Zero2Cool (7h) : It's March 10th. I don't think anything is done.
Martha Careful (7h) : if we think CB is done, we have a poor roster

Mucky Tundra (9h) : Surprises the Seahawks signed Darnold for that money
buckeyepackfan (10h) : Depends on what Kupp is igned for.
