Think it's a rather simple, fun activity to both practice your lying skills and to get to know some other members a bit better. :)

Proper procedure:
1. Look at the latest post in which someone has posted two lies and a fact. Guess which is the fact. This is a message board, there will no doubt be conversations going back as people either acknowledge a correct or incorrect guess, etc.

2. Post two lies and a fact about yourself. Keep it not-so obvious, try to keep it interesting.

GOOD: "I was hit by a car when I was 12. I flunked out of high school, went back later and got my GED, now I have my masters. I own a pet porcupine."
BAD: "I'm a Packers fan. My penis is 20 feet long and I suffer no ill effects. I live in a giant bucket."

Obviously, I will start it off.

I weigh 40 pounds less than I did when I was 14. I know dfosterf in real life. I belong to the Church of Scientology.

That sounds like youthful exuberance to me, so I'm going with that.

My collection of women's jewelry is worth more than my house.

I made 20 guys run 100 miles nonstop while wearing t-shirts with a cartoon picture of a big fat pink pig in jogging shoes emblazoned upon it, because I felt that they weighed too much.

I was once arrested for peeing in public. My sentence for the offense was for the police officers that arrested me to install restroom facilities where I had urinated.

Well, I know for a fact that the last one is true, so I'm going to cheat and answer here.

As for things you never knew about me:

I lost 30 lbs in less than 4 months this summer, which subsequently lead to me trying out for the UW-L cheer and stunt squad . . . and making it.

I performed a medical examination on Saddam Hussein in Bucca Theater Internment Facility on my second tour to Iraq.

I managed to lose two businesses, a house, and a car in the space of less than a year . . . and somehow stay married.

Since we have no answer, I'm going to say you performed an exam on Saddam Hussein. Either that or you are extremely creative.

I turned down a D1 scholarship offer, because I figured I had a better shot getting seen playing tackle in D2 in the OVC than protecting Tim Couch's blind side at Kentucky.

I worked concert security in the nineties and turned down a job offer to tour with my favorite band, Blues Traveler, because I was in college. I still flunked out that year.

I was visiting a cousin in Miami about 7 years ago and convinced her drunk boyfriend that her roommate's hamper in the closet was really a toilet. I'll never forget the stink of that night; or her boyfriend's name: Najeh Davenport.

Ahman Green gave me his gloves after practice one day.

I have a piece of one of Brett Favre's Packer helmets.

While trying to get an autograph from Donald Driver after Packer practice, I wasn't paying attention and one of the rookies ran into me while riding a kid's bike back to Lambeau Field.

I ran a 4.9 on the 40 when I was 13 years old.

Then yours has to be Nr. 3, right? I mean, I would've gone for nr. 2 with everyone else, but with you, it ought to be you being driven over by a rookie on a bike.
