It will more likely be Clifton, Spitz, Wells, Sitton, Barbre because you want your best 5 guys there.

Now as for what Earthquake posted, I'm excited about Blackmon returning punts and kickoffs. That's bigger news to me than the OL right now. After the disaster against da Bears, I'm pretty sure Mike McCarthy will be playing it safe on the OL. I know, more boring, but in this case, warranted.

I'm glad it sounds like Colledge can go. He has really stepped up his game this year, and is playing like a monster out there.

For those of you who have the game or NFL Replay saved, check out a run by Wynn that occurred at the end of the 3rd quarter. He kind of gets flipped and there is a crowd around him when he goes down. Colledge comes in and absolutely DESTROYS a DB. Funniest play of the game, imo.

Has anyone really seen Spitz play on the Left side? I haven't. So for me I would go with Lang.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

One has to wonder if this will actually help us a bit.. it may shift some of the Cincy Defensive game planning attention away from Barbre.. ala more interior blitzes to see if they can attack right into the QB's face verses edge blitz's...

Just a thought..

I'm glad it looks like he's a go. Now if all 5 can get their techniques down, hopefully we'll be a tad better.

Packers' Colledge listed as questionable for Sunday

The Associated Press | Posted: Saturday, September 19, 2009 12:00 am |

GREEN BAY - Green Bay Packers guard Daryn Colledge didn't walk or talk Friday like an injured player whose playing status is in question.

Colledge, who has a sprained right foot, ambled from one end of the Lambeau Field locker room to the other without a noticeable limp. He said the injury won't jeopardize his playing streak Sunday when the Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals.

"I'm ready to go. I expect to be out there," Colledge said. "I haven't missed a start yet (for injury reasons). I don't plan on missing one this weekend."

The last thing the Packers need is to be short-handed on the offensive line after the unit had trouble protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the season opener last weekend. Colledge dropped out of practice Thursday with the foot injury, and he is still listed as questionable on the injury report for Sunday's game.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Colledge has a good chance of playing against the Bengals.

"I think he's going to be OK for Sunday," McCarthy said.

Colledge was excused from practice Friday to treat the injury, which he said occurred when a teammate stepped on his foot.

"The coaches and the (medical) staff felt it was safer to say, 'Hey, you've worked enough, we know what you can do, let's just give you a chance to rest and be ready,'" Colledge said. "I want to be 100 percent for the weekend. We've got a great defense coming in here, and it's going to take more than 90 percent of me."

Colledge has played in every game since breaking into the NFL as a second-round draft pick by the Packers in 2006. He has started all but four of those 51 games, including the playoffs.

"I've been benched before," Colledge said. "But, other than that, I've never missed a game - high school, college, pros. I don't plan on starting this weekend."

Colledge, as well as the rest of Green Bay's offensive line, is highly motivated to get back on the field after struggling in the Packers' 21-15 win over rival Chicago. Rodgers was sacked four times, including a safety.

NOTES: K Mason Crosby kicked some field goals after practice Friday in Lambeau Field. It was Crosby's first day of kicking since he aggravated a lower abdominal strain while lifting weights Tuesday. Crosby attributed the injury to overuse as the team's only kicker in training camp. "It's one of those I just got a little fatigued, I rested it and now I feel good," said Crosby, who expects to be fine for the game Sunday. ... CB Will Blackmon also is probable to play for the first time this season. Blackmon hasn't played since suffering a bruised thigh in a preseason game Aug. 22. He is Green Bay's return specialist and said Friday that he anticipates having full-time duties on kickoff and punt returns. ... Rookie DT B.J. Raji went through a full week of practice but is questionable for Sunday with a sprained ankle ... WR Greg Jennings (wrist) had limited work for the third straight day but is probable to play. ... LT Chad Clifton was added to the injury report for a non-injury reason but will play Sunday. S Atari Bigby (knee) and RB Brandon Jackson (ankle) have been ruled out for the game.

Martha Careful (2h) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy

Mucky Tundra (3h) : BALL DON'T LIE

dfosterf (2-Jan) : Hats off to the Beast
dfosterf (2-Jan) : I'm at 71.76% in pick 'em. 2nd place. Beast is at a flat 75% 9 games ahead. That 75% has got to be unprecedented this late in the season
beast (2-Jan) : I don't care deeply, just want some good entertaining games
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : BTW, not serious.
Zero2Cool (2-Jan) : You don't care about it either!!!!

Mucky Tundra (2-Jan) : outside of Texas-Arizona St, it's been a snoozefest
beast (2-Jan) : I expect Georgia will change that tomorrow, but we'll have to wait and see. If they do, then only Big 10 and SEC are left.
