Kevin Smith put up just about a 1000 yards last season.. considering they were behind in every ballgame for the majority of the time.. that is impressive.

The Packers had two 1k WR and were behind a great deal and it seems no one wants to say nice things about Grant's 1,200 yards in a West Coast offense.

Grant 3.9 ypc
Smith 4.1 ypc

I would challenge that statement.. I and many others have stated that some are being to harsh on Grant.

It was a LOOOONG time ago, but after the 2009 schedule came out, Rockmolder presented his Packer schedule W-L record. A few of ya'll did it, as did I with my Vikings. I remember marking them as going 1-1 against the Lions. I just don't remember which game I had the Vikings lose to the Lions..

Sorry for the late response. I fell out of my chair.

Do you think the Lions might get lucky and beat the Vikings?

The Lions vs. Vikings games are ALWAYS close. Just look at the past 2 or 3 years. I can remember 4 games off the top of my head that went into the 4th quarter with either the Lions winning or within striking distance.

For the most part, no matter how good/bad one team is over the other, these two always end up in a dog fight.

And I picked one of the two games against my Vikings because it's only a matter of time before that ol' toothless Lion gets his bite.

The Lions will beat the Vikings this coming weekend.

Bwaaahaaa!

This guarantees a Vikings victory.

With Z2C's lack of ability to pick NFL weekly winners, this is a lock!

VR's NFCN picks for the week
Vikings over the Lions
Bengals over the Packers
Steelers over the Bears

Z2C, I whooped your sorry ass on weekly picks last year, and I can do it any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

That's a lot of talk for someone who didn't join up in this years NFL Picks contest. šŸ˜‰

You didn't join because ... you know I figured out your 'trick'. :)

edit, I'll throw in my Week 02 NFC North Picks.

Bengals under the Packers
Steelers over the Bears[/ul]

Unfortunately, per my algorithm (team with the higher record; in case of a tie, home team), I was forced to pick Minnesota, but I'll be rooting for myself to be wrong. šŸ˜‰
