I'd rather put Woodson at safety and play Tramon at corner.

The way they were moving him around.. Woody was a little of everything..

Personally with seeing the number of different sets they ran Sunday night.. I am less concerned about the traditional depth chart type of mentality..

Rouse got to deep a couple of time in relief.. but came up in support well.. I think they can hide his "space" issues in coverage..

I don't see why everyone dislikes Aaron Rouse. It's not like he's a liability out there. I think he is a good backup and a decent safety at worst. (I may be slightly bias because he went to Virginia Tech.)

I don't see the Rouse hate either. I've always liked him as a backup.

How many teams out there have a backup Safety as good as Rouse?

Almost everyone liked Rouse before last season. When Bigby got hurt last year, Rouse played more often, and opposing offenses began to pick on him and expose his weaknesses. I remember him making some big mistakes in the first game against the Lions and some other games as well. He tends to take bad angles and because of his height (6'4"), he's not great at changing direction quickly.

Rouse+Capers>Rouse+Sanders. Nuff said. I like Rouse, and I think he's gonna be a good 'un.

I think Rouse would be better if we got another S and put Rouse in one spot. It is hard enough to learn a position, let alone two.

He played good against, when he came in at both SS and FS. People say he was to deep, but he was suppose to be deep. If you see the video when he broke Clarks rib, take a look who is playing shorter and didn't make the play.

Bigby.

I remember after he got up after he got hurt, he was acting like he was running in place or whatever you call it when he was heading to the sideline, so it must not be that serious if he was able to do that.

If Derrick Martin is the improvement on Smith that the coaches thinks he is, then we should be fine for depth behind Rouse.

I hope Rouse can shore up his coverage a little bit. He seemed to be in the wrong places at times last game. Way too much separation and not enough movement towards the players in his zone.
