Yeah, I seen that.

It made me think, If we were in a shoot out with a team like Indy. Back and forth touchdowns by both teams, it would be the 1 interception that won the game we would talk about.

When it's defensive stops on both sides over and over again, it's the 1 touchdown for the win we talk about.

Ok i know everyone is waiting for my comments but sadly to say i actually fell asleep during the 3rd quarter and my friend called me up to say Damn your Packers are going to win right after Rodgers threw the pass. I am happy for him but the part that took me by shock was me telling my friend to watch we will get another int and sure enough bang.

I have read all the comments in here and i say its hard to give a good read on our team. The defense gave up alot but then turned the Bears away i think 3 or 4 times inside the 20.
But also i seen Rodgers missing wide open wrs in the 1st 1/2 and they were passes he made in preseason. We had drops and very bad RT play.

Also we missed an early fg which i was worried about. Now the question is Are the Bears defense the toothless defense alot were calling them or are they actually that good?

Once again i can't give my full opinion on the game cuz i did fall alseep early in the 3rd quarter.

lol the defense was fine. You guys are nuts if you are expecting a D that's not going to give up ANY plays.

We are the 20th ranked defense in yards right now out of 28 teams and we were playing the Bears that don't have anything besides Forte and Olsen. So i have some concern but we are still getting the TO's but also Collins got burnt again.

So basically Rodgers didn't get enough stats for you to give him any credit and it wasn't enough now to simply win the game.

This is the crap that just pisses me off..

All off season DH kept spewing crap that Rodgers needs to win a game with under 5 mins to go..Well you noodle, he did it in grand style and now your bitching that he missed open receivers.....

They werent perfectly thrown balls.....however they were VERY catchable..

Just effing admit it that no matter what Rodgers will NEVER ever get any respect from you

We heard who cares what his stats looked like just win a game..And like Steve is saying now your bitching he didnt get more completions.

You are a real knuckle head

I see Rodgers being another Matt Schaub sit behind a star qb and when they are gone given big bucks and puts up big numbers but can't bring his team wins.

Lets see...you were mad before he put up big numbers but no wins..

Now he wins but doesnt put up big numbers and your still mad?

Flip flop much?

Wow, Rodgers looked a bit unstable throughout the first half, but as long as he pulled off that one amazing pass...I think we can forgive him. Didn't help that the receivers had butterfingers.

DH fell asleep early because he was rooting hard for the Favres errr Vikings :)

Seriously, Rodgers missed some throws, but he finally made the throw that counted most. You can't knock that. I criticized him as well in the off-season because he had that deer in the headlights look near the end of the game, but that was as clutch as a call and throw the Packers have had in awhile. Probably since the Chargers or Chief game of 07.

The offense has ranked in the top ten every year under McCarthy. I think they should be alright, but obviously it's a one game at a time approach and right now they need to fix some things.

I credit a lot of that to Rodgers having to run for his life for a good portion of the night. The pass protection was below average at best. If the offensive line can give Rodgers enough time to actually scan the field and find an open receiver, he'll be much more productive.

The age old saying in UK soccer is

"Championship material teams are able to source goals/points when they play badly"

The bears did play hard on Defence, and to be honest (after initial fury) I am glad we had to eek one out - sometimes utter demolitions against lesser oponents can be a negative going into the next week - especially if the skill level of the opposing team is significantly different than last week.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately

dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.

Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland

Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
