I want to know dhazer's thoughts after Rodgers came back in the clutch and won the game for us.

I was extremely happy for him to be able to do this. It has to boost his confidence for future encounters.

My response would be "Who cares?" Rodgers shouldn't have had to do that. His 4th-quarter comeback brings me no joy, since the score should have been a rout had a few plays been made earlier in the game.

Most overrated statistic in the book, in my opinion.

No joy. That's a bit extreme.

I agree, a bit hyperbolic. What I'm saying is it's not the 4th-quarter comeback that makes me happy -- it's the win itself that brings me pleasure. But I'd rather never have to see my QB pull it out of his ass in the last minute.

We had to put up with so much stupid shit about it that in that sense it was gratifying.

Well, now that he has that supposedly career-defining accomplishment, let's make sure it never has to happen again.

Rodgers wasnt the story, he did this kind of thing last year.

What was new this time was the D didn't give up a 4th quarter score after the Jennings touchdown.

That's what screwed us in 08.

While i agree that it should have been a rout, had they taken advantage of some opportunities to put it away a few times, and some poor play calling(run, run, incomplete, rinse, repeat), i think there was a few important things to be happy about.

While coming from behind may very well be overated, this appears to be a different team than it was last year. The offense came through when it needed to, making the last 2 FGs and that late TD was truely a thing of beauty.

The defense coming up with turnovers in the red zone and in field goal range is HUGE. I think its easy to forget how close chicago was to scoring quite a few more points, if not for a couple of those turnovers, it could have easily been a rout by chicago! This defense is fun to watch, and by all indications looks like a clutch defense that isnt going to give the game away.

Let's hope Rodgers doesn't have to perform magic too many times this season.
I have alot of faith in this defense that they won't let these close ones get away.
I'm pumped but I also realize that there are still some things that need fixed ( the O-line). I'm sure this team will only get better each week as long as injuries don't become a factor.
